Wildcard would be the Raptors.

They've shown in the past they don't care, and this time the guy has a 4 year deal.

I don’t think they get much for Kyrie anyway. Lakers are just totally desperate right now. Unless some other team feels desperate and steps up, maybe Dallas after losing Brunson and want to trade Dinwiddle back to the nets in a deal. He’s torn a few teams apart now, think most teams are not even bothering with him.

Like I said...

The nets should just hold both until they get the right deal.

Don’t think the suns can send 4 frp, thought the max was 3. Nets are getting pretty good value, figuring Kyrie isn’t worth much right now. That second lakers pick would have to get rerouted to the jazz.

You can send out up to 7 years in the future:

hadn't thought about them, but they could absolutely make it work, and it would be beneficial to both teams.

If they could make it work with OG/Barnes and picks and not have to send out Siakam and Van Vleet, they'd be sitting pretty.

KD and Siakam at the 4 and 5 would be very difficult to match up against, b/c both of those guys can protect the rim defensively.

Even sending out Siakam/Barnes and picks, they still would be pretty good, and i would think Brooklyn would like that a lot too. a Siakam/Barnes/Simmons lineup at least defensively is pretty damn good.

this fricking guy

There’s a ‘significant obstacle’ on the Kevin Durant to Miami trade front, per @sam_amick “Durant, it seems, would only want to play on a Heat team that includes Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo and Kyle Lowry.”

Yeah no. Doesn’t work like that.

This is like Kobe attempting to force a trade to Chicago only to get pissed that everyone he wanted to play with would get shipped out in the process.

I think he expects the Nets to take a shite deal while accommodating him in where he wants to go.

On an expiring deal? Possible.

With 4 years left? Nubian Warrior, please.

Wouldn't be surprised to see the Nets fold and take a deal built around secondary talent and huge haul of draft picks.

From who, OKC?

Miami doesn’t have the ammo to pull that off with Brooklyn.

i keep thinking...why not OKC?
he can go back home, be the MAN again, they'd treat him like royalty, presti is still there, etc, etc

he didnt like sharing the attention with rustle & harden
he didnt like sharing the attention with steph/klay/green
he didnt like the drama in brooklyn

there'd be no drama, no expectations, nobody to share his shine. and if he did get them there (3- 4 years) he'd be a fricking legend

edit: would have to be a 3-way though as the nets can't take SGA

Problem appears to be that he is a bitch.

He won’t want to return to where he started without having half an All Star team with him.

And you don't expect him to turn into another malcontent and want out, after witnessing the trade that just happened?

And he just got 5 picks for Gobert. How many picks can he get for Mitchell?

Mitchell has always wanted to go to Miami. Not sure if Miami can put together a deal that Utah would want.
