Kyrie opts in and KD still wants out. Incredible. With four years left on his deal and Durant, at 34, still playing at an MVP level, Brooklyn could — and should — get back one of the largest trade packages in NBA history.

To where?

Not that teams won’t want to get him, but cap space and available trade chits may not line up right to do so for a lot of teams.

Because Durant is not going to Sacramento for a TPE.

Who even has the assets to make that kind of trade?

OKC?

There were quite a few people saying the Kyrie situation wasn't settled. What we need to be concerned about is Kyrie + useful role players for Westbrook and a pick.

Looks like both will be gone by the start of the season.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see GS make a run after him. They have all of their picks along with salary and young players.

Draymond has been playing nice lately too

Knicks or OKC come to mind.

I mean, there is a team, with a ridiculous surplus of draft assets, that has a bunch of young talent with high upside, that could empty a ton of that and still field multiple top 30 players around Durant and be immediate contenders for the next 4 years.....Not saying they should do it, but they could, and would probably win that war if they were inclined to do so.

Yeah, if the Nets blow it up, I can see Kyrie for Westbrook and a couple unprotected picks/swaps.

As the Nets prepare to move one of the most valuable trade assets ever on the market, the entire roster will available to discuss in deals, sources tell ESPN. Teams have been calling on Durant, and the Nets will certainly look for a historic return on players and draft picks.

If 90% of the board could have its way they would trade Ingram for Durant.

I’m completely out if that happens tbh. Just will commit full time to being a Rockets/Sengun fan.

Some of y’all would probably like that lol.

Nets really aren’t in a position to blow it up like that.

Houston owns their picks for like the next 5 years between swaps and unprotected firsts.
