Will this be the year citizens of New Orleans/BR, etc show up before the new year?

Or will it be another of year of “wait until after football season, Mardi Gras & only if they are winning” nonsense most “fans” say...

Or will their new excuse be “AD is leaving why show up?”

Flock those fools. #doitbigagain

Win games early if you want people to show up early in the season. It’s that simple. Don’t start off 3-5 and have people looking away until football is done.

NBA basketball has drained the enjoyment out of itself for me. I used to be the biggest hornets/pels fan ever, and now just bleh...a bunch of overpaid mediocre players playing rec league ball.

I miss Bob Licht and Gil McGregor.

Newsflash: Unless we are competing for championships that's the way its going to be here, for the most part.

I do think we will have better attendance this year if we come out the gate swinging.

You already know the answer especially since some fans( including myself) think AD is going to leave soon

Last time we made the playoffs opening night was packed and exciting, then the warriors did what they do and we started like 1-11. It’s tough to let the good times roll with results like that

The pelicans really don't advertise that well if you ask me. They should be billboards on I 10 all way to Alabama state line and in to Pensacola.

More Pelican bulletin boards and less Alexander shunnarah lol!!!!

If we look like we did the last couple months of the season then they will. We need to win and not get off to another slow start out the gates

The saints are 4-1.
LSU is 6-1.

Being realistic the casual fan that packs the blender won't be around to mid December/ early January.

It's a long season and will be a fun one. Enjoy your time with your fellow "true fans".

I’m a pretty hardcore Pels fan, but I’m not looking to go to any games until December or so. I’ve already got tickets to Saints, LSU and Mississippi State football games to keep me and my pocketbook occupied. I’ll eventually go to the arena for 5-6 games in the 2nd half of the season no matter how the season is going. Until then I’m gonna slap on FSN on my YouTube TV and watch and listen to Joels Meyer and Davis Weslee. Honestly that’s more enjoyable than driving to the city and dealing with the crowds and the surrounding riff raff 90% of the time.

Didn't 7,500 fans just show up for a damn practice? As long as the team doesn't shite the bed I think we'll be fine sons.

I think there will be an uptick because people know this season is make or break.

I’m planning on going to more early games than usual

yep.
I'm happy we are playing more national tv games this year, but i wish i could still watch a broadcast with Joel and David instead of Van Gundy and Mark Jackson arguing over stupid non-basketball shite.

The last game i went to, Etwaun caught an alley oop from the baseline and dunked.........as a member of the Bulls. I did sit courtside that game, and it was pretty awesome. haven't been back since, but i've been to at least 100 games before that dating back to the beginning of the Hornets. Having toddlers makes it a little more difficult, especially when you live an hour and a half away.

Making the drive from BR on Friday for the opener. Haven't been to too many games over the years, mainly due to percieved cost. Guess I was just checking the high profile games or looking in the wrong spots. Was pretty surprised to see so many cheap tickets, I know the Kings are bad but its the damn home opener.

Any of y’all buy from Ticketmaster? I know they have a deal with SeatGeek. So how does it work if I buy from Ticketmaster? Still electronic entry?
