AD should be the favorite for DPOY and I don’t give a frick what anyone says. He missed out on millions due to lack of all nba votes, which was from him missing so many games. Gobert has missed a lot. AD is one of the most impactful players on offense and still plays elite defense. Gobert isn’t a scorer so he can put all that effort on defense. Embiid, also has missed more games. AD for DPOY, and that’s final.

One of the Pels bloggers tweeted a block chart comparison of AD, Gobert and Embid. Those 2 blocked shots almost exclusively at the rim. AD’s block chart looked like a shot chart with blocks all over including the 3 point line.

I have never written an article before but I am very tempted. He has the strongest case for any of the main four (Gobert, Embiid, George, AD). Yet, it isn't being talked about enough. He doesn't have a shot at MVP because Harden is a lock, but maybe the hype can go toward him as DPOY. That is something Pelican fans, and AD, would be able to take into next year in what has already been the funnest season in quite some time.
