What team is Lonzo most likely destination and what do you think we could get in return?

My guess is the Clippers are the team most interested in Lonzo, but I have no idea what they could offer in return.

At this point getting him off the team to get NAW/Kira more minutes is the return IMO.
I'd be pleasantly surprised if we got anything back that was worth a darn.

Currently, I believe we could get NYK to take him into cap space and maybe get back the Dallas 1st

I imagine the Knicks would be interested because of his marketability, but doubt we have much leverage to get a first.

The leverage the Pels have is that he's an RFA so whoever you trade him to is likely to keep him. Google Lonzo Ball Knicks and you'll see a ton of Knicks bloggers that seem very interested in the idea. There's just been a lot of smoke about Lonzo to the Knicks since the AD trade, so I think the interest is there. If you could convince the Knicks they'd be losing Lonzo to another team and wouldn't have a shot at him in FA, I think you could get one of their extra 1sts.

The Knicks would be dumb to give up a first for him. They can sign him in the off-season. Why give up a first?

Because if they actually want him and he is about to be traded to another team that wants him, they won’t have a shot at him. It’s all tied up in the Knicks wanting him, but there has been a lot of smoke to suggest that they do.

I got nothing against the guy and was pulling for him, but I need more Kira. I would trade him for a ham sandwich at this point.

I don't feel like hunting for all the people who talk on TV for a living nodding their heads when Lonzo talked about how BI was most improved last year and he was going to be MIP this year.
Heck, I think that Pelicans PR bought into that idea, because all our early team promos this year were Zion, BI, and Lonzo, like Zo was going to be our third star.
