what kind of player would help this team out that you would like to see? yes, i get that we have a boat load of young talent, but no team keeps the same roster the following season. what are y'alls thoughts going forward?

It’s always a mistake to just grab a new, shiny
toy Because you can

Does Kenny Atkinson count? I don't particularly want to see much change in the lineup because I think a better coach could get better results out of the same roster.

I guess I wouldn't mind seeing us get Myles Turner.

TBH this is probably the first time since following the Hornets back in 2002 where I didn't really want to make any significant changes.

I guess shore up the end of benchers like Jah/Frank?

Keep favors if we can get him on a fair deal. Max BI. Jrue is most likely worth more to us than we could get back in a trade. Zo is a core piece. No sense selling Hart or Melli. Could certainly replace Moore I guess.

I don't see a path to upgrading the top 8 or 9, which is really what matters for a playoff bound team.

Would be a huge pickup but I can't see acquiring him without giving up more than we get. He's a solid player who is getting better with experience and he's in his first year of a non-overpay contract. Those guys don't come cheap in trades.

I'm aware, but we do have the assets to get him and they might have some incentive to.

Well... not always.

Durant to the Warriors worked out

Could probably think of a few more good FA signing that we’re made because teams could.

I'd like them to let all the FAs walk, resign/commit to Ingram and trade Holiday. I love the young core of Ingram, Ball, Hayes and Zion. Just need to keep adding to it each season. Holiday should bring back a pick or two. Have to find some shooters, maybe a wing and a stretch 4/5..

Test the market on Serge Ibaka. If he is too expensive, work on bringing back Favors who I think will be relatively cheap. Favors isn’t the best fit, but he’s still a positive and could maintain more continuity . A short term deal would be great. Another one I’d like fit wise is Joe Harris, but we have so many guys at the 1-3 already.

We have tons of futures picks ourselves, plus the lakers picks...

Pick up Myles Turner, draft here, draft there, and then-bam (Bradley Beal).

Keep shoring up the Bench...

Would be glorious...

I’m leaning in your direction, I guess.
You’re right that Jrue has more value to us than we’re likely to get from another team.
Add to bench if we find a good deal.

Depending on where we land In the draft I’m intrigued by Avidja as a back up 3/4
