They are raising concerns with the league of the Blazers hiding injuries of players they have traded. They are asking the league to look into the Nance trade to the Pelicans as proof.

I wish all Pels trades had the McCollum Nance misconduct then.

Typical California libs having to always be offended for someone else. Haven't seen a single person from the Pels complain about the trade.

Someone needs to investigate Zion”s scouts too for not telling us Zion is damaged goods. We could have had Garland, or Morant.

Who’s take is worse, lionward or Livingston Law?

Somewhere Anita and Dell Demps are smiling.

Thanks Warriors -
Pelicans probably complained but only response from NBA was to fly a violin soloist down from NY to play a sad song for Grif.

Glamour markets are governed by different rules than us small market plebs....
Don't remember a bleeding heart apology when the refs let Gobert forearm BI's head and ruled it a block?

I’m pretty sure that post was made with a tongue planted firmly into a cheek.
Sleepless nights gave it away.

Whether there was some snideness to it or not, the league took extra notice of that specific scenario and you could actually see, including against us, how the refs were handicapping the Lakers(in a beneficial way) in subsequent games.
Lakers got 37 to 19 FT's the following game. 31 to 6 a game later. Then 33 to 20 against us. With some serious bullshite calls that threatened our chances to win.
Combine that with that chart someone put together the other year about how teams like the Lakers, even in their worst years, tend to get the best refs and they get them more frequently. Building in a season-long advantage cause you get the best officials, and they have the most familiarity with your team. So a team like the Pels on the opposite end of that list will likely get crews they rarely see vs the glamour market, and as a consequence be more likely to get screwed by officials that have an outsized familiarity with the glamour market.

I dont blame them for being hot. Not any different from Philly passing off a damaged Jrue to us.
Its such shitty business

And when Jrue got good we shipped him to the Bucks for HIS RING.

If there is a hidden injury, they should be passed and compensated.
I don't get how injured players are traded in the NBA. Players used to have to pass a physical before any trade was completed. Now I guess they waive them. It's not a smart idea and people are going to get burned eventually..

League really needs to crack down hard on this.
At bare minimum start taking away first. For something really egregious, 2 year post season ban.

They totally lied about CJ and Nance. I think it's only fair to send a 1st our way.
