For sure a Pels fan wanting failure is an oxymoron. What you’ve never recognized is that its a team game. High points for the team in this tenure have been the Phx series and December win streak the next season, in that order. Your intellectual dishonesty of not acknowledging contributions of other players aside from Zion during the win streak is the genisys of our board beef. TM3 is a useful diversion for you to rally around until Zion strings together a good run and then like I said, you’ll start questioning his ‘fit’.

You've now made 2 post in this thread, none acknowledged the OP and how good Trey Murphy is. If you admit how good he is, that hurts your love for BI argument. You're proving that you're one of those fake fans. Congrats, you played yourself. You can be a fan of BI above the Pels, I'll be over here putting the Pels first, as I've always done

Shel, be careful. You’re going to pull a muscle patting yourself on the back.

I was dragged when I said Trey should start over BI before. He brings more to the table with much higher ceiling. Would love to keep BI leading our second unit.

I'm patting Trey on the back, how about how he's playing as of late...

What are you talking about? We can't just be happy with the way Trey is playing? Your argument is that if I'm going to call out Trey's greet play, I have to also mention it is a team game, why? Everyone knows that. Do I have to also mention the ball they play Witt is round and orange?

You can repeat yourself, that's cool. It doesn't make you ant less wrong than when you said it the first time. It just show your inability to learn from yourself mistakes. Like I said, you were wrong, and that's for you to deal with. If you don't want to learn from it and remain willfully ignorant, that is your choice.

This idea that because I said BI isn't a good fit with Zion automatically means I'm going to say Trey isn't a good fit with Zion may be one of the least intelligent and most out of touch with reality statements I've seen on TD in a good bit. It's completely illogical

I don't understand what's going on in this thread.

Trey is showing he has a 25/5/5 ceiling on good %s, but likely a 19/5/3 on better %s as a 3rd option. That's, uh...great news.

(ETA: changed 17 to 19

Yep, one of few bright spots in an otherwise season to forget

One would think Pels fans would be happy about the way Trey is playing, but as we see in this thread, that is not the case for some "Pels fans"

Yeah, Trey is looking like he can be "the guy". That makes Murray's injury way more devastating.

The Pels need to get Trey some help.

This calendar year, he's putting up 24/4/6 despite struggling from 3 (34%, we all know that he's better than that, and he's shot 13/22 the past two games).

Now 21/34 over the past 3 games from deep. Obviously not sustainable, but he's out of his 3pt funk, and is now at 37% on the season. He's a stud. We need to do our best to maintain this tank, but Herb/Trrey/Zion/Missi is a pretty talented group, and we have a chance to add a pretty high caliber rookie if we keep a top 3 pick.

Stop ruining the recipe with Zion.

They need a PG and a center. Unfortunately same place we were in last offseason. Not that I’m giving up on either Murray or Missi, but we need great improvement in those two areas next year.

Trey looking like this could genuinely change the Pels’ future outlook. He’s the perfect running mate for Zion. Still need another big and a miraculous rehab from Dejounte but things don’t look as hopeless as they did a month ago. I’m not going to sit here on a public forum and bitch and moan 24/7 like some posters, there is some hope.

Trey is a good fit with literally anyone because he’s the perfect 2nd option, I just don’t know if Zion is that the first option you want him attached to

Stop this shite. Zion missed 2/3 of this stretch. Stop forcing things to fit with Zion. Force his arse to fit into a 40 inch waist.

Yawn as much as you want. Zion does not make his team better. In fact, he makes half the guys around him worse. Missi is the latest in a long line of talented guys that can't work with Zion

When you run into an a-hole in the morning, you ran into an a-hole. If you run into assholes all day, you're the a-hole.

At what point do we stop blaming everyone else for being a poor fit and address the real problem?
