I think Kawhi just wants to ride off into the sunset in a place where, after the past few years of shite, he will be totally under the radar, loved, and there will be much less pressure to do anything
He carried the Clippers to the play-in single-handedly. Finished 7th in MVP voting. Doesnt seem to me like a guy that has quit. Maybe a change of scenery would be good though.

That's a nice haul for a 35 year guy.

You saying it’s better than Bruce Brown and Kelly Olynyk?

Shows how little value Ingram has

In your proposal was Brown and Hauser.
And if 35 year old Kawhi worth Ingram (who has similar value to Zion), Dick, 2 picks and a swap for sure you have to give at least two picks for Brown.

Which is why the argument to NOT trade draft picks for elite players is retarded. Get Brown, it doesn't work out, you trade Brown.

Adding Hauser to that package doesn't make it less ridiculous.
Let's make this simple. What do you think the value for Trey/ Zion is in a trade? Please don't just say (2 1sts) like a top 10 pick has the same value as #30.

Crazy how fast they moved on from Ingram after him being their big acquisition. One season was enough to see what Pels fans have known about BI for a long time.

Wow the Clippers won that trade if Kawhi plays his usual 50 games. BI over the moon he finally gets to go back to LA.

This is a lose-lose trade.
Clippers are stuck with a bad contract in BI.
Raps mortgaged future for an old guy who's always hurt.
F grade for both.

Zion right now has same value as Ja or BI, so no 1st round picks. Trey is between 2 or 3.

They gave up one 1st round pick for him, and then got to use him to get Kawhi Leonard. Seems like it worked out well for them.

Griff Traded BI for Bruce Brown and Masi traded BI for Kawhi. Zion and Griff have equally destroyed our franchise and neither should be allowed to step foot inside of NOLA.
Technically speaking we could've had a top 5 pick from the Pacers as well, but that was a lucky aspect of the trade, which is all Griff was good for. Luckily winning lottos, luckily having LeBron want to play for him in Cleveland. When it came to actual basketball decisions he could control, he was a full blown retard.

This was a failure on Dumars

No was just salary filler. He had no value as evidenced by the assload of pics the raps had to give up for a dude who’s 35 and always hurt

Toronto just trying to sell tickets

I’m willing to bet the raps had to give a first to get the clippers to take BI

They are giving up 2 1sts.
Is that what we are calling an assload now?

It was. But also slightly exaggerated. Pacers without their own first would have most likely landed somewhere closer to 8-15 honestly.
Not a great trade but the lost value is exaggerated and so is the thought process.
1 injury changed a lot for that trade.
Many believe we could have just waited until after the final game but you don't know that. Could have been now or never. Pacers most likely wanted that done before they played.
Not great but more understandable than people make it out to be.
Its hard to do something about terrible luck.
How often has an NBA team gotten fricked TWICE by Achilles injuries, within a 2 year period, at the cost of draft assets?
Probably a first.
