Am I just stat watching or do people really think malik beasley is anything more than a C tier player?
C tier player, sure. But the dude can score. Would be really nice to have him in our second unit.
Imo he’s more valuable than a bench guy but less valuable than a starter.

Griff did it, Lakers can’t make a trade if Woj can’t tweet it out right?

His numbers this year have been almost identical to Devonte’s his last year with the hornets.
Whoever gets him is assuming they get more of that than this year's efficiency.

LAL, UTA, MIN have indeed been discussing a three-team trade that would send D'Angelo Russell to Los Angeles, Mike Conley Jr. to Minnesota and Russell Westbrook to Utah. Malik Beasley and Jarred Vanderbilt have also been included in the versions of the framework, sources said.
Sounds like it's in the exploratory phase, and I'm betting the versions proposed with Beasley and Vanderbilt probably contain asks of LA and Minnesota that neither want.

Lets recap who's in our 2nd unit
Jose
Dyson
Naji
Trey
Larry
So who's losing minutes to Malik Beasley, or anyone else we may bring in?
We can't make decisions based on injuries. Malik Beasley doesn't play if he's on this roster and everyone is healthy. We aren't going to play 11 guys in a playoff game, and it's dump to build a roster to win regular season games and plan for injuries.
We can't trade off DG/Jax/Kira and bring in some guy that you expect to play as the 11th guy, unless you plan on bumping one of the 5 guys i just mentioned to that 11th spot.

ESPN Sources: Three-team trade is largely hinging on how Minnesota values D’Angelo Russell in potential deal and their return of draft assets. Lakers and Jazz have significant deal structure in place, but Minnesota has been engaged elsewhere on Russell too.

The odds of both of them holding up down the stretch are not good.
The Lakers don’t worry me because when their team is healthy, they often rely on the wrong formula. Darvin Ham was given the wrong script.
Unlike most on this board I have tremendous respect for the talent of both Lebron James and Anthony Davis. I don’t follow their careers much these days cause I don’t really frick with them on a character level.
Moving right along. The problem with the Lakers is they’re not running the offense through Davis…. running the offense through Bron may work for a few games in the playoffs but during the regular season they’ll fail more times than not cause they’re WORKING WITH THE WRONG PLAN.

Minny is trying to unfrick themselves from the Gobert deal.

I hope Minnesota sticks to their guns. It seems like that would most likely blow the deal up though. The Lakers don't have enough spare change to pay Ainge and Minnesota.

Yeah, there's no way Utah's taking Russ without some major compensation from LA

It comes down to if they are willing to play chicken with Russell’s contract and if they have other potential suitors.

Imagine the scenes when Russ sits at his usual locker getting ready for tomorrow night’s bucks game
