Ive been trying to tell you goombas (not you who im quoting) that Ayton is a disgruntled employee that new management is willing to give up for 75 cents on the dollar.

We can't afford him.

I would send JV/Graham/Jax for Ayton and a pick.

If it dont work out you now have an Ayton for the Durant sweepstakes in July.

THIS IS THE WAY

You think you would get a pick back with Ayton?

I just feel like there are a ton better packages than taking Wood and Hardaway.

That's a trash offer.

I mean, I'd take Russ and two lakers picks over that.

Terrible deal for the Lakers. Sixers have been trying to get off Harris for years. Ties up another $40 million to the Lakers for next year.

But if they dont like anything at the deadline, they can roll russ's salary over one year by taking harris. Then they could make a move in the offseason with harris' expiring. Harris isn't toxic like russ and he's still a useful play just very overpaid so i think teams would be more will to take him as an expiring than russ

Ah, that's more like it. Having said that, I would not want him mainly due to his salary. I would not invest huge money in a 5.

We still can't afford him. We cannot carry 4 +30m/yr contracts. so if you want him CJ has to go

Some of y'all are wild. They aren't dumping him. They may use him to upgrade their roster if the right player comes along. They are in a middle of a run and Booker is returning today isn't he? Phoenix is finally healthy and they are likely just looking for opportunities to upgrade their roster for a playoff push.

I think the Suns would expect a legit center back. They considered CP3 for Kyrie, they don't want to blow it up.

It would have to be something like pulling in the Spurs to send Poetl to Phoenix and maybe even a 4th team to send guys like Wood/THJ for draft assets if they're worth anything.

No, I just immediately dismissed a trade idea that brought back a $30+ million center.

Are you interested in Durant or not?

If so, you can keep BI if you go get this guy. If not, okay cool theres nothing else to discuss here.

Paying that for a Center is a complete misallocation of assets.

Everything I read about the Durant/Phoenix talks this summer were that the Nets didn’t like Ayton as the centerpiece of the deal. So I don’t know why you think he’s some inside track to Durant.

Bam is the most underrated player in the league. He’d be one of the only guys I’d consider unloading hella picks for.

They ain't that disgruntled. Even if we could afford him, they ain't doing that. There would be much better offers out there. And I know you meant us sending a pick.

People who don’t realize Bam would make us title favorites are braindead. A big who can rim run, pass, and screen offensively and guard 1-5 defensively. Combine that with he won’t take shots away from BI CJ and Zion. Plugs holes that we have and doesn’t take the ball away from your playmakers.

Everyone realizes this, we’re just smart enough to know that we cannot add another max contract to this roster. There’s a reason there are zero teams with 4 max contract guys, and as far as i can recall there never has been any. Dedicating over 100% of your salary cap to 4 players is piss poor roster building.
