Nets are finalizing trade to send forward Kessler Edwards and cash to the Kings, sources tell ESPN. The Nets save a total of $8M in salary and luxury tax and open up a roster spot. Edwards still has to approve trade because he has a "one-year Bird Rights restriction" in his deal.

quote:I have some weird thought that I can't quite make sense of where I'm very concerned about a KD deal sending out BI and picks but the moment I see Claxton coming to the Pels, I am ALL IN!!!
That is seriously going all in on another guy (Durant) who can't stay healthy and isn't getting any younger.
If there is some world where in terms of players we only give BI but we add KD and Claxton, we are the favorite to win a title...

BI JV and 4 firsts was his proposed trade.
Idk ab alllll that now. Almost rather just trade JV and picks for clax or whatever it takes.

I'm not trading BI and picks for KD. He's too old.

The Dallas Mavericks are interested in acquiring Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton. Christian Wood & Tim Hardaway Jr. have been in trade talks. #NBA
Didn't they trade a 2029 pick for Kyrie? That suggests they're out of tradeable 1sts, right?

Based on what I’m seeing, they can trade 25 and 27 along with offering swaps in other seasons.

Sounds like the Mavs actually mean business.
THey get Ayton were fricked.

Why would the Suns do that?
Ive been trying to tell you goombas (not you who im quoting) that Ayton is a disgruntled employee that new management is willing to give up for 75 cents on the dollar.

I think the Suns are contemplating blowing it up completely. Dump everyone but Booker.
That locker room appears to be a dumpster fire and won’t get any better until CP3 is gone.

I dont see why the Suns would do that unless they are blowing it up.
People go overboard with Wood around here, and he's a good role player for what he is, but he can't anchor the 5 full-time and Biyombo has shown he cant be your full-time 5 either.
Suns would be conceding the Booker era essentially with that sort of move.
Cause I 100% can not see Booker tolerating ANOTHER rebuild

Game 7 of last year broke that whole fricking franchise.

I would send JV/Graham/Jax for Ayton and a pick.
If it dont work out you now have an Ayton for the Durant sweepstakes in July.
THIS IS THE WAY

Ayton is disgruntled because the offense didn’t run through him in Phoenix and they lowballed him as a result.
He also has apparently been blowing off Monty and everyone else trying to up his game.
I’m not sure I want to take a risk on him going full Ben Simmons and going “I don’t give a frick!” now that he is paid.
