I do find it funny that Brooklyn moved so much of their young core including Dinwiddie as part of dealing with Kyrie and Durant just to get Dinwiddie back in a trade tho.

They let Diwiddie walk after an ACL tear.

Fun fact, I sat next to Collis Temple Jr in the Jan ‘19 nets game (where Spencer went off and we sort of got screwed into an OT loss), told me the team hated Kyrie (Garrett was playing for Brooklyn at the time).

I think Jeebs gave me those tickets, or hooked me up with them. I could be mistaken.

I don’t care if Kyrie signs an extension. He’s still going to ask for a trade. Harden, Kyrie, and Durant’s word mean nothing when it comes to signing long term contracts. I’m good on them.

Well the contracts don't stipulate which team is paying you that money amirite.

Ohhhh, I would’ve taken that one over the Dallas package.

From what Ive seen Lakers refused to put the second first on the table, their final offer was Westbrook and a single first

Didn’t see that before just now.

Interesting.

I wonder what made the Nets choose Dallas package over those other 2.

Dinwiddie and DWS are likely movable.

CP3 is a lot of fricking money for a guy breaking down.

The asking price of OG is fricking insane. I can only imagine the price for Siakam.

A lineup of Siakam, Zion, BI, CJ, and Dyson or Herb tho? Flap so hard.

You can forget about adding another max player to this roster, we cannot afford 4 max guys, which is why guys like Ayton and Siakam are out of the question.

From Shams
quote:

The Lakers offered the Nets a package of Westbrook and two first-round picks in 2027 and 2029 for Irving in the last two days, sources with knowledge of the discussions said — to which the Nets informed the Lakers that in order to make an offer to get in the Irving sweepstakes they would require all of their young players such as Austin Reaves and Max Christie and pick swaps in addition to Westbrook and the two first-round picks.

quote:

Phoenix offered a package around Paul, Jae Crowder and one first-round pick, sources said. The offer was made within the first 18 hours of Irving’s trade request, and it’s believed that three first-round picks could have clinched a deal, multiple league sources said. However, the Suns never added those picks and failed to make a better offer, beginning to lose interest in a trade for Irving as time went on.

Wow! I’d be so mad if I were KD that the Nets to have passed on CP3 and Westbrook (who could play well next to KD) for the Mavs package.

I’d be surprised if the Nets aren’t going to trade those guys and picks for another star quality player. I assume maybe they picked the Mavs and those players because they’re the most tradeable compared to Russ and CP.

Another thing about the trade is how hilarious all these lakers fan are reacting to it. They’re so damn salty.

Current Spencer Dinwiddie is better than either geriatric CP or frickball Westbrook
