This draft is extremely unpredictable and not top heavy. There are a lot of guys that could be a go here. I’ll list a bunch and we can discuss whomever you like at 13.

Here are some potential picks:

Aaron Nesmith
Devin Vassell
Precious Achiuwa
Saddiq Bey
Cole Anthony
Patrick Williams
RJ Hampton
Aleksej Pokusevski
Jalen Smith
Tyrese Maxey
Kira Lewis
Theo Maledon

So who do you like? Why? Who do you not like?

Feel free to post profiles, videos, anything.

I feel like the Pels will have a lot insight into Hampton because of watching Didi play in Australia. Wondering if that affects their viewpoint strongly one way or the other

I have minimal feel for this draft except a strong desire to avoid Cole Anthony and RJ Hampton

If we come out with Okoro, Nesmith or Vassel, I'm happy.

Unless Wiseman falls to 13, then you gotta take him.

Kira Lewis
Tyrell Terry

Spent way too much time looking at mid first rounds picks the last few months, and finally settled on those two.

Lewis has a speed/shooting combo I just really like.

Terry has Trae Young-type shooting potential as a PG, imo. Downside, he probably has Trae Young-type defensive potential. I like the tempo he plays with though.

I also like Jaden McDaniels as a longer-term, upside pick. Just aren't a lot of skilled 6-10 SFs out there.

I like Vassel and Nesmith, but honestly I’d like to shop the pick for someone who can help us win now....

We still have a lot of young guys that haven’t developed yet.

that would be a huge mistake considering how stacked the west will be over the next 2-3 years. It’s better to stay in the shadows and build this team organically until it’s time to get the win now players. Until then though you can get FA’s that are quality and good locker room guys. Similar to what we did last offseason

Worst mindset to have. Right now the west is absolutely loaded, and our time to compete is in 2-3 years when these other teams are starting to fade and our guys are hitting their prime at 22-25 years old.

The only "win now" trades I make are for 22-24 year olds on team friendly deals cough*Myles Turner*cough, they will still be in their prime and also ready to compete when Zion and BI are.

Man, this is so weird going into the draft with so many unknown prospects at the top. March Madness usually vaults an upperclassman guard from a mid-major to the top 5, but that was taken away. Those guys never got the chance to show their grit against top competition like in years past. Maybe there will be a steal there.

This is a good year to be in the middle of the pack of the draft.

Yep, I'm glad we didn't waste any lucky tie magic on this draft. I just don't see major value on any lottery pick this year.

So, this is a "get lucky" draft. Just gotta hope whoever it is we pick ends up a good player.

I think the front office we have now would be a little more competent in that regard....

In 2-3 years you have to figure out if you are paying Zion(of course you will), Hayes, Alexander, Jrue will pretty much be wasted by then, no premium free agents will want to sign with us either....

If you really think Ingram and Zion are your core that will take you to the next level, then dump the project players and bring in proven winners. You can snag guys on big contracts that other teams are looking to dump since they are rebuilding. When they’re contracts are up, then it will be time to pay your young players....hopefully they will have proven they are championship caliber.

I don’t agree with that. While this draft lacks superstar caliber players, there’s a lot of quality rotational players in the draft.
