Not sure why people think Zion is going somewhere. He's literally representing the team tonight. It’s silly to think otherwise.

Would be a generational fumble to send someone to represent your organization on draft night to then trade him in a month or so
Zion is staying at least until the trade deadline. Get used to it.

My god the reaction from the media will be so fricking funny if we get #1 yet again with yet another top level talent.
They will be pissed (and they kinda should be, we suck)

Is this what you want?
If you want to trade or think it's a strong possibility, wouldn't it be better to do it this summer?

Zion is a generation fumble, so...
Also, this isn't draft night.

I'm like the OP. I think we getting the #1 pick. Oddly enough I felt this for Unibrow and Zion. I've been told I have psychic abilities by other psychics, but I really don't believe in that, but if we get the #1 pick this year, I just might start believing (in my ability and the Pelicans).

I like creating mnemonic devices to help me remember what order cards 14-5 should be chosen in to see if someone has jumped into the top 4.

He did take a great white hope last time and it blew up in his face.

Melo also talked his way out of being drafted by Detroit. He was asked if he would rather have huge playing time on a middling team or contribute to a winner. He wanted the playing time.
Not that Darko was the right choice if they passed on Melo, but Melo had the wrong mindset for a Pistons team already competing for titles.

What is crazy about this conversation is that someone else from our team has a close connection to that draft.
Willie Green was taken with the 41st pick in the 2003 NBA draft.
Another weird thing about that draft, of the 28 2nd round selections, 10 never played in the NBA at all. Another 5 played less than 15 career games.

If we got number 1 and didnt take Flagg, the city would self incinerate.

frick me I’ve just seen OKC have 5th best odds… via Philly… to land Cooper… or any other top talent frankly.
That’s horse shite!

Trust me bruh, won't matter if they don't get the #1 tonight

Trust me bruh,
Why would I do that? You make claims knowing who the GM loves and the only reasoning you have is "trust me"?

They don’t have those odds, the Philly pick is top 6 protected, if it’s 1-6 Philly keeps it, OKC gets it 7-30
