Honestly I think they run it back. Maybe they make one or two small moves, and obviously they’re gonna add someone in the draft, but I think pretty much everyone will be back.

I think I'm fully on the Markkanen train over Myles Turner.

Who’s protecting the rim if we get Markkanen? Whenever the Pels play the Bulls they get an obscene amount of easy points in the paint because the Bulls have no rim protection.

Adding Markannen leaves Favors at the 5 which is what Wendell Carter is complaining about right now. Carter wants to move to the PF but has to play C. Last year Carter averaged over 1 block per game, so they do have rim protection just out of position.

Wendell Carter Jr. wants a position change

Not so sure about that, he had a pretty down season
true but there’s a lot of teams that would want him if they know he’s on the trade block. They know the reason he had a down year is because of how the pacers underutilized him. The pacers can get more for Turner than just a late lottery pick

recall that the pels are staring down the barrel of a triple max...Ingram, holiday, zion.

hence my deal of zo, jrue and the lakers pick for a year of greatness.

i know i need a point guard. naw, bolsaro, mystery fa, markus howard all get some time.
my front line is all time though.
zion, ingram and rentetekuompo.

i suspect that josh jackson has suffered enough that he can be the pels Swiss army knife. some point, some 2/3 swing man. hes going to be dealt. hayes.

I hope you seriously don't believe that trade package would net Giannis...

We would have to send Ingram along with every pick we have at a minimum

They do not need a 4 year guaranteed first round pick salary in this weak arse draf
We'll be operating over the cap so I'm not sure why this is relevant?

additional seconds are what they can use
Why? We have a shite ton of those, why do we need more?

you don’t get a cap exception for a 1st round pick salary slot.

you can sign a 2nd round pick with an exception and/or 2 way him or stash him

It's actually the opposite. Teams can sign 1st rounders when over the cap. Think about it, most teams operate over the cap yearly, and yet most teams sign their 1st rounders.

It's actually 2nd rounders that don't receive that exception.

CBA FAQ Site

quote:

Also unlike first round picks, teams do not receive a salary cap exception specifically for their second round picks. These players must be signed using cap room or an available exception (see question number 25), such as the Minimum Salary exception or the Mid-Level exception. It is most common for a second round pick to receive the minimum salary and be signed using the Minimum Salary exception.

3) pels trade down from 12 or 13 for a future 2nd or 2 and take a euro stash late in the 1st.

i see you don't fully understand the concept of trading down.

what about the gm and owner.
say you are the mgmt.

it looks like gsw is going to offer green, wiggins and their high #1 for rentetekoumpo.

would you rather take the gsw offer, or zo, jrue and pels late lottery 2020 #1

or hold your hand pat and hope you resign him. yes if bucks win the current playoff if there is one maybe he stays. what are the odds he even wins the east? its less than even.

Teams don't preemptively trade superstar players even if other teams make offers. The only instance I can really think of where a star level player was traded before asking out is Deron Williams in Utah, but there were very unusual circumstances there with Williams making a beloved and legendary coach decide to retire.

ive got a zen saying i made up.
whatever you hold onto in the face of what actually is will cause you to suffer needlessly.

being in love is a bad look after superstar leaves for nothing. jilted. ingrate.

Any winning team he would want to leave for would be over the cap, I.E. Warriors, so they would have to work out a sign and trade for him, so he wouldn't be walking for nothing
