The New Orleans Pelicans are open to trading anyone on their roster except Herb Jones, Yves Missi, and Trey Murphy III, per @TheSteinLine & @JakeLFischer “While naturally resistant to trade inquiries for their younger gems — Herb Jones, rookie Yves Missi and Trey Murphy III — word is that the Pelicans are essentially open to trade pitches for pretty much anyone else on the roster apart from those three amid a 5-21 start and more injury woe than even Philadelphia.”

Before any of that happens Griffin needs to go.

Watch Griff use this as a front to sell to get under the tax and call it a day.

Idk. If there is at least one thing Griff has shown he can do, that is win a trade for the most part.

We’ve been hearing this for a while. Let’s hope griff has a realistic idea on what he wants in return this time.

We have 3 days off, then go to Houston to play the Rockets. Then we come home for a 5 game stretch. We don't go on the road for the rest of the year. The season is over. We can't recover from 5-22. It's past time to clean house..

Yeah I know. My point is that I wouldn’t want Griffin having any hand in the rebuild. I just think the team needs to go in a new direction and a full rebuild and a new vision. The injuries aren’t all Willie or Griffin’s fault but he put all his eggs in the Zion/Bi basket and look where we’re at.

And the Rockets are definitely going to push us around.

I know a lot are down on the value of our players, but ever since they added the Playin there have been no serious sellers at the trade deadline and a bunch of buyers. So the Pels might actually be able to get a decent return

Only returns I want out of this is a shitload of picks. I don't care about players in return.

Gayle has to be feeling cursed. Both the Saints and Pels need a complete player, coaching, and front office overhaul.

I would want to keep

Murray, Jones, Murphy, and Missi

I have no problem with the team moving on from the rest. Those four guys are the type of players that would pair with any other big players in the league.

I don't know. They are role players with some upside. But they are limited.

Let's say we added a true Superstar to those 4, somebody like Devon Booker or Anthony Edwards. Would that team be a real contender? Who's the number 2 or 3?

Hate to say it, I wouldn’t be mad if we moved on from Trigga Trey. Watch other teams, plenty of dudes make 3’s, while adding something else. Trey sometimes makes 3’s, and doesn’t add a whole lot.

CJ is the only one who I feel 100% confident gets dumped, as he's too old to be part of whatever rebuild we go with.

Been saying this about Trey since the moment someone said he was going to be better than BI.

Ball handling and defense are just not where they need to be.

highly debatable. He’s got to go. I don’t trust him with our future. Only person I’m willing to keep is bryson
