I wonder if the Pels can do something like this

Nets get
Donovan Mitchell
Jonas Valanciunas
Pelicans 2023 pick
Lakers 2024 pick
Pelicans 2025 pick
Pelicans 2026 pick swap
Bucks 2027 pick

Jazz get
Graham
Temple
Lakers 2023 pick swap
Bucks 2025 pick
Bucks 2026 pick swap
Pelicans 2027 pick
Pelicans 2028 pick swap

Pelicans get
Durant

It gets the Jazz a great hull for Mitchell and the Nets get two high caliber players plus 5 first rounders

Championship for Pels

The Jazz would laugh at that. Would love for that to happen but it’s definitely not. Jazz need another first and they wont take temple probably.

Also. What would the pels do at center?

There’s a ton wrong with this pick list. So much of this isn’t ours or can’t be done.

Small ball

Nance and Murphy

Plus imagine
C - Durant
PF - Zion
SF - BI
SG - Herb
PG - CJ

The death Flock cometh

Also the Lakers pick could be top 5

I was basically saying the Pels could get a very good player with just picks and contracts to match.

We could and probably will. I just really don't see Griff chasing KD after the presser today and I am kind of thankful for that.

Would be fun scoring wise. But we would get out rebounded every night for sure

If he and Nash can somehow convince everyone to stop being little bitches and play basketball, they have enough top end talent to contend.

Yeah, that's what I think they'll try to do.

It makes sense, I don't think Durant is going to be a little bitch and sit out. Now, I can definitely see Kyrie sitting out, and who knows what's up with Simmons, but I'd try it.

Chasing Durant reminds me so much of the Saints fans who wanted Watson so bad.

Chase the name and ignore the millions of red flags.

The dude is old, injury prone and weird. frick all that.

We were certainly right on “injury prone” with some unibrowed a-hole who went out west.

I don't think any speculation on KD should be going on..... "feels" like he will go where he wants to, or will be back with the Nets.

I personally think he stays with the Nets and Kyrie gets moved for assets.

Makes the most sense for sure.

Plenty of major players in history have made the requests then stayed put.... we just live in this world now where we assume the player will get what they want.

Although, the player does have more leverage these days...but I could definitely look at the landscape after Kyrie gets moved and say "well shite"...

It would honestly be better for the league if the Nets told KD to shut the frick up and play up to your contract. Until owners stop giving in to every star that demands a trade, this shite will keep happening.

It really feels like there is only 1 team that even wants Kyrie, and they seem to be hesitant to give up assets for him.

They Nets hold the cards here, there's no real negative to keeping him if they aren't going to get real assets to send him out.

I don't think the Lakers want Kyrie, they just don't want Westbrook

There is a theory out there that KD doesn’t actually want to leave. It’s being reported that since the trade demand, no player can get in touch with him.

Which is atypical as many would be trying to recruit him.

The reason for the demand? To give Kyrie more leverage.

All speculation, of course.

The fit works.

It will happen, just a matter of when.
