Then I looked at his contract...he isn't THAT good
I didn't realize he signed an extension with them last offseason. Dude is averaging 24 mil over the next 4 seasons.

It'd be very funny if we wound up with Noel.
I remember that draft night like yesterday. I also was on the CJ and Trey Burke bandwagons.

I would do that in a heart beat, which makes me think that there's no way that the Knicks would do it
Especially because it increases their cap by 4 mil.

Noel has been my target for a while also. MM’s trade is TOO good I think. Hayes for Noel straight might not be so terrible for what we need and they save $2.5 for Brunson. Maybe a second added for us or something

while i had been saying i wanted Burks for a while, to be honest, i don't want someone that's going to come in and take minutes away from Dyson and Trey. I mean i wouldn't be mad about it at all, but i want Dyson playing this year. So if that trade can be made and Dyson still gets regular minutes, then great.
I think a trade like that means that Kira never plays, Billy never plays (but that's a little more expected), and Liddell probably doesn't get much of a shot to play unless there's injuries.

Even without that trade I'm not sure that Kira is getting minutes.
I assume these guards are ahead of him:
CJ
Devontae
Jose
And we just drafted a guy at 8 who can play 1-3 that he's going to be competing with.
ETA: I also think that we'll see a decent amount of Point Zion with the second unit, which limits Kira's role as well.
A Zion led bench unit alongside Nance, Trey, Herb, and Dyson would be really fun and would run some teams off of the court.

I said without the trade he wouldn't get minutes, because the comment was that he wouldn't get minutes with the trade.
Replace Devontae with Burks in a post trade scenario and you're still looking at 3-4 guards ahead of Kira.

After dealing with Kemba’s limitations, I can’t imagine Thibs wanting anything to do with Graham. Thibs might end up murdering Jaxson before the season ends.

There’s rumors going around that the clippers already have a deal worked out to take Noel into their TPE they have from trading Ibaka.

Hardy has been highly regarded for a while. His age just delayed him finally becoming a head coach.
