JV's 3 point shot is interesting. If he has time to set and shoot, I feel it's automatic, like 75% or more. If he's rushed even a little bit, it's 30% or less. Having CJ/BI/Zion play a 3 man game on one side of the floor should get JV a ton of 3s he can take his time on.

our boy griff has got to be feeling good this morning.

his lakers trade is a slam dunk just with ingram and the picks. JV trade while starting out in a hole has been a huge positive. The CJ trade was larceny. His draft last year was exactly what the team needed. He’s got the coach who is able to make real what he saw in his head about culture. He’s getting good mileage out of the swin cash (just now voted to the HOF) and T-spoon hires (player development). And he’s got leverage now with zion despite all the trash heaped on the franchise by the national media

it’s a ton of luck but you have to have at least some. It’s time we acknowledge that his vision despite the missteps is on the verge of full flower

frick him. Happily ship his arse out for all the picks.

Nah. We need him. This is the most fun I, and everybody else I'm sure, has had watching the Pels in a long time. Not just the basketball aspect, but just the guys and coach themselves. But that being said, I don't want to be the Blazers. CJ and Dame had some really good teams and made some really impressive years, but they peaked at a short window as a WCF team. This team as it sits, with no Zion, could be a really solid team and make a run in the playoffs, but they're not a Finals team. Add Zion to this team, as a dreamer, I think that team could compete for a championship. Give me Zion. Get him on the court winning with these guys, and he'll want to stay.

Obviously we want Zion. But if he really doesn’t want to be here and will be a little bitch about it, send him out.

I don’t think that’s the case at all though.

Imagine what we could be if Zion becomes his own man, buys in, and gets calls like the ones that Jokic got that saved the Nugs

Pels are 7-1 in their last 8 with BI/CJ with that game being the blemish.

11-7 post all star break with BI missing almost a month and CI missing a couple games.

this is why the lakers pick is so important. we need to get lucky just to maintain this momentum as a franchise.

If we can get some more luck and get in the top 3, we certainly take a huge leap forward with or without Zion.

This is fun to watch Haven't seen since the playoffs against blazers.

1) Zion is caught in the middle of whatever is going down between his step dad and Griff.
I see that as a rationalization right there, giving him the out and blaming others. IMHO he's been coddled from jump starting with buying off his Mom and family by Duke and I see his behavior since he's been here as an extension of that.

If he's bought in - and I'm not convinced he has, it's because it's convenient given he's seen the culture Willie has brought in and he's jumping on the bandwagon.

But he's still got the same folks in his ear and he still has that same entitlement mentality IMHO.

Hope I'm wrong I really do. But it just ain't as simple as that in my view.

If his sole focus is winning, there's no better place to do it but here. I truly believe he recognizes this

I fully expect as ATL mentioned that Zion had to meet with his doctor while in LA and I’d be willing to bet we get a Shams or Woj update about those results soon.
