He actually looks in great condition. If I had to guess he’s around 270-275 lbs.

IMO fitness isn't a problem anymore. He grew up and started taking it seriously. Last season he was in good shape, stayed healthy. Now he needs to develop skills.

He looks great. Closer to 250#, if I had to guess. This offseason has been totally different than all before. He stayed local, worked out with the coach/training staff, he's posting videos in workout gear (even shirtless). I'm not foolish or naive to say he's turning the corner or will be super great this year. But this is all positive so far. I even like him shooting a bunch. We'll see how it translates..

The Zion weight thing is more about injury prevention. His game is his game though. In previous summers, it was hard to see that he actually practiced basketball based on his skills seeming to diminish yearly.
Let’s see if he can do something other than drive to his left this year.

That’s all great and all but find me one historical precedent where a guy underachieved this bad only to become great in year 9

Kyle Lowry has always been an elite human, leader, teammate, etc. Also, he was never the number 1 guy on a playoff team. He was best cast as option 3 or 4. If that's Zion's best case, this entire 8 years has been a disaster and waste of time.

Kris has a whole thread on it, Z hasn’t underachieved per say, his career started off injured alot, which is what Kris started to focus on last season is keeping him healthy. This year they’ve been working on his game and confidence. This guy seems to be working wonders with Z, and we definitely haven’t seen his best yet.

I don't know about all of that. But he didn't make his first all-star game until his 9th season and then he made 5 straight more. He really emerged as a top starter his 7th or 8th year, was kind of a journeyman before that.
