Brooks Lopez of Mirotic

We have what 30 plus mill now.

A vet Big who can strep outside and hit three on a 2-3 year contract would be pretty perfect.

lets Hayes develop. Stretches the floor.

I love The addition of MAW.

Mirotic would be great for small ball lineups. But with Lopez I feel brings a better defensive presence. All depends on the kind of ball they want to play. Gotta assume Gentry is pushing for Mirotic.

Stretch big is the priority right now.

Brook Lopez won't happen so cross that name off your list. Milwaukee won't let him go.

I personally love Niko. I think he's a little overrated, but I like him. It'll be either Niko, Kyle O'Quinn, Dewayne Dedmon, or Pau Gasol.

How much tread is left on Pau’s tires at this point?

When San Antonio is willing to buy you out so you can play elsewhere, I think we can probably say your days as a starter are done.

I think Lopez should be the priority, but I also like Mirotic.

Other options are Dedmon and JaMychal Green.

I feel like one of those 4 should be on the roster next season, unless they make a trade for a big.

the Pau suggestion is mainly for culture and leadership. I don't want him playing more than 20 mpg...because I don't think he can handle it at 38

I’m setting expectations extremely low. How about a Greg Monroe/Ja/Hayes rotation at the 5.

Maybe a minimum 2 year contract to be our version of Andrew Bogut and to teach Hayes how to be a pro?

Niko was also awful at the end of the Bucks playoff run, so he'd probably cost less than people originally thought.

I want Dedmon.

But go to literally every teams fans are listing him. It’s kind of hilarious.

Yep, every fan base is saying "we can just sign Dedmon for cheap". I find it funny. Either fans overrate the hell out of him or he is going to get paid.

We could probably afford to overpay a guy upfront.

We COULD do a front-loaded declining contract, but the limits are a 5% change from year to year.

As a result, the amount of help that does us in getting FAs is probably minimal.

No problem with overpaying as long as it's a 1-2 year deal.

We still have a lot of good young players in favorable contract situations.

lol Dedmon is the big everyone wants. Shoot I want him

but to get those guys we will need to overpay. I said it in another thread, but I really like Rudy Gay & Dewayne Dedmon at 2/30 each. maybe even a PO to sweeten it for them.

that's double what Dedmon made last season and $5 mil more than what Gay made last season. but you bring them both in to leader the team with Jrue
