What players(s) from their roster make sense for No. 4 and/or Kuzma?

None that they would give and we would want

You can always trade Ball to another team... I think? I know there are rules on trading players in rapid succession.

That was my take on it, since John Collins is the obvious dream answer.

You do realize he has value and we could still trade him, right?

yep.

It shouldn't be what we can get for the 4th pick, it should be what can we get for Ball and Kuzma.
I will not be happy if Ball is a Pelican.

Pick #4 and Kuzma should get an all star.

Would the blazers trade McCullom for pick # 4 and Kuzma? Maybe

Would the Wizards trade Beal for pick #4 and Kuzma? Maybe

Would the Pacers trade Oladipo for pick # 4 and Kuzma? Maybe

Would the Spurs trade Derozen for pick # 4 and Kuzma? Yes

Those are all good all star scorers for the Pelicans.

Why not make the Lakers do the work for us? I'm aware we can trade him later. Would just rather not have him in any deal for Davis

the frick...

the answer is a definitive "NO" for every one of those. kyle kuzma is a nothingburger in this league, and #4 isnt getting you any of those players

Taking him on means we can’t repackage him for like 6 months. We would have to do a non-simultaneous trade or wait for the restriction to lift.

I’d rather trade his arse before he ever steps foot in the arena.

Literally none of those teams would consider those deals.

So the Lakers are trying to trade the 4th pick for a player to use in an Anthony Davis deal. Great. But who? Few players would be available for it. Just speculating: Clint Capela? Aaron Gordon? Steven Adams? Maybe an even younger player? Tough to find players that make any sense.

A career 17 ppg/6 rpg guy is a nothing burger?

This Pelican delusion is reaching new heights.

Another thing regarding a Beal trade that we haven't discussed is the impact of the KD injury and Kawhi staying in Toronto could have. That would really kill most of the star player movement expected this summer. Most of the teams with max slots also had enough trade assets to get in the conversation on AD, so I'd argue that Beal's price will go up when these teams with double max cap space miss on adding max players. Trading Beal for Lakers Leftovers in and AD deal would be selling low.

cmon dude...i can see you can access the internet and type, so so are not mentally disabled, at least not much.

i could have scored 17 pg on that team last year. you know better than to post counting stats from a 30 win team.

Trying to be funny?

A lot of good players have career averages lower than 17 ppg
