We're a lot better than them, and we beat them both times that we played them already. That's partly why 538 puts our chances at 76%.

Vegas spread currently is around 4 or 4.5, which is roughly 60%.

Either way, nowhere near penciling in an automatic win for us.

What happens if there is a tie for the 9th spot? I haven't checked if that could even happen since teams have played a different total # of games but how would that be determined if both have the same record?

Pretty unlikely to happen with the difference in # of games played. For instance if Blazers and Pels finished season same amount of games behind Memphis, Blazers own tiebreaker because they’ve played more games than us (better overall win %).

Aldridge hurt? Opted out?

Not sure why I don't remember him being out.

Aldridge had shoulder surgery back in April, not playing the rest of the season

Yeah had I known that I understand now why no one was picking Spurs to make the playoffs. Can never count them out though, I think they’ve only missed playoffs like once or twice in my lifetime!

And the good news is that the team gets two days off, which means that they will likely do some 5 on 5 practice tomorrow. I think that will really be good for them, because they haven't been able to do that since Zion came back into the bubble.

Edit: And now Zion should just be able to play normal minutes, as David Wesley just pointed out.

Looks like the toughest games left will be against the Spurs with Orlando being a close second.
