Man. Who did y'all root for before New Orleans had an NBA team? Y'all are sure analyzing hard a game where you played a really good team. The league designed this concept all to get Zion in the playoffs. Why the bitching? Y'alls record speaks for itself. You have a lot of flaws. I would think it's obvious. Cause of record/place in standings

II know it’s a lot to expect, but it would be nice if our team showed up fired up, in shape and ready to go.

Well said.

I’m so fricked off about last night’s performance. It represented everything that is crap about us...flashes of absolute brilliance followed closely by insipid pathetic defending and blowing a big lead for the 3748294929th time.

definitely rooting for Memphis tomorrow now.

Tonight we have Spurs-Kings, Grizzlies-Blazers.

We don’t play the blazers and I want us to control our own destiny as much as possible so I’m rooting for Grizzlies tonight. Feel like the 8 seed is too far out of reach with last nights loss and will need to shoot for 9th and play-in game now.

The Kings will drop some games so I’m rooting for them tonight to get the Spurs off our back.

Can we change the thread title to the Leisurely Stroll for the 8th Seed?

Going to have to make up 2 games on the Blazers now and we dont play them. They'll be the biggest hurdle... were going to need them to lose 4 of their remaining 7.

Both Memphis and Portland played their guys legit playoff minutes.

Gentry said he's looking to cut our starters minutes vs LAC. The goals dont seem to be the same.

If we lose to Clippers then Grizz and Kings games are must wins. We lose 2 of the next 3 then its time to settle for a lottery pick and fire Gentry!

I'm starting to feel like we're screwed. We have to be 2 games ahead of Portland and I don't see any way they lose 4 of the next 7 and we win out.

Think you have it confused. If Portland goes 3-4 we only need to go 5-2 to beat them out, not 7-0...

Overall we’d be 33-39 they’d be 33-41

Thanks for clearing that up. I almost have a hard time thinking we can go 5-2 in the next 7. I wish Griff would just play Zion

At 538, they have our chance of winning tomorrow at 38%.

Do I remember correctly that if the 9th place and 10th place teams are within 1 game then they will play one game to see who plays 8th place as long as they are within 3.5 games?

Griffin said Zion isn’t playing significant minutes tomorrow.

Griffin should only be in charge of trades. He’s a liability making these sorts of decisions.

What’s sad is we had a legit shot at 7-1 if Zion played ~25mpg of which he is perfectly capable. We’re a different team when he’s out there. A top-10 team. There is zero justification for leaving your best player on the bench.
