Funny thing is you can say their easiest opponent next is the reigning champion raptors. Maybe the Thunder...celts and Bucks may give them a prize and not try

The Bucks will be resting people I would assume, but Boston and Toronto might as well. Both could have their seed locked as well.

The reality is we just need to win.

If we win the next two we are in great shape.

Of course. But, it's still WAY more fun if the breaks go our way on days that we aren't playing.

Still too early to get a bit specific with scenarios, but I could see a point soon ish where we start rooting for the Grizz to win and Blazers to lose as we'd obviously much rather face the Grizz in a play in instead of Portland, especially if we're the 9 seed.

Honestly I’m almost there. I’d be there if we had beaten the Jazz.

With the easiest remaining schedule and zion giving you now at least 25 minutes, how do we not go 4-1 here and outright take 8 seed? Grizz are done without J Jackson and portlands schedule is brutal. 4-1 gets us to the 8 seed and i think thats where we are headed. Had we played zion against Utah I would say it would be a stone cold lock

Portland's schedule is brutal but they are hot and playing with their backs against the wall against teams that aren't as motivated as them.

I do see portland losing at least 1 if not two more, but I'm not counting them out yet.

Going into the bubble it looked like 4-4 might be best case scenario for Portland. Now it looks like it might be their worse case scenario.

4-1 isn’t good enough.

My concern is these teams already in the playoffs resting players are trying out new lineups screwing us over.

Yeah it’s a reason why I’ve been saying since the beginning a “hard schedule” may not be hard, and an “easy schedule” will be full of teams fighting to get in.

No team is resting players after taking months off and only playing a 7 game schedule

It could be.

If I got it right, 4-1 would get us into the play in as long as 2 of the 1st 3 scenarios play out as well as PHO NOT winning out:

MEM finishes 1-3 or worse
POR finishes 2-3 or worse
SAS finishes 3-2 or worse

PHO finishes 4-1 - If PHO finishes 5-0, we'd need all 3 of the above to play out
