Since Embiid has back problems, ill take Wiggins. Or if we traded Gordon for Monroe, than Exum would get a serious look

My heart says Embiid, but my brain says Wiggins.

Definitely Wiggins if he's available. BBS has a recent podcast discussing possibilities if we get a top 3 pick, and I agree with them: Wiggins or Embiid are easy picks if we don't have any great trade offers, but Randle isn't really a good fit. They have a bunch of trade ideas and my favorite (which I don't think Orlando would agree to unless Wiggins is there) is the pick and Gordon for Vucevic and Dipo.

Would rather Embiid over Wiggins. Check Embiid's back as much as possible.
It's just easier and cheaper to find a capable SF than C.

While that is true, you still have to consider moving Gordon. It will be easier to move him for an overpriced 5 than another perimeter player.

My heart says Embiid, but I know we're better off getting a SF.

With that, give me Parker. I've watched both and if Wiggins doesn't improve his all around game, he's going to struggle. He relied on his athleticism a bit too much last year. Parker may not have the higher ceiling, but their ceilings are comparable and Parker's floor is higher.

We have a franchise AD, we don't need a second superstar.

You guys already have the best shot blocker in the league. Why would you want Embiid and not Parker or Wiggins or even Exum? If you got a perimeter player I wouldn't be surprised to see the Pelicans in the playoffs soon.

Embiid has the ability to be the best C in the league

You always take that over a good wing player, imo (unless it's like Lebron or something)

Aren't Wiggins and Parker supposed to be just that? there arent going to be players like Wiggins and Parker for a good while. And if it doesn't work with them you always have a shot at getting Okafor next year or one of the freaks at UK.

Exum/Parker would be fairly redundant unless we traded gordon somehow. Even then it's questionable.

Wiggins fills the need for an athletic 3(we need that badly)

Embiid because true 5 that can play D is paramount for AD.

It's very doubtful we'll be picking high enough to have a shot at them

Wiggins/Parker were hyped but they're no where near the HOF potential like they were crowned.

To be honest all is needed is a wing that can play D(like wiggins) or get one in FA and it's set.

It's very unlikely that you guys will have a shot at any of these people, 2014 and 2015, i understand why Embiid would be great but I just think Wiggins and Parker are just better picks. OKC has arguably the worst starting C in the league yet one of the best PF and look at them. And with the right system in place and help from Jrue I think Wiggins and Parker would flourish.

I just have eery feeling this is like a Durant vs. Oden match off.

Embiid looks like the better pick on paper, but is this season's injury a sign of things to come.

I'd go with Wiggins. He has future MVP written all over him.

That's a fair assessment that I agree with.

Embiids potential is very hard to pass up and the idea of him+AD is mouth watering.

Might be true but Wiggins played quite well as a true Freshman. There's absolutely no reason to think his game won't progress by leaps and bounds. MJ didn't play like a HOF when he got into the league...it took time.
