not that the pels would be looking to get kaminsky, but clearly they want to include batum's contract in any deal
batum's deal is 26.6MM next year then a 27MM player option for 2020/21. career, he's 110 ORTG/107 DRTG and is 30 years old

Maybe if Charlotte throws in Walker also.. Kaminsky is Diallo level, and they want someone to take Batum also?? Lol

batum is the better player than kaminsky, he's just older and more expensive. he's regressed in CHA but i would just about guarantee you that if the pels traded for kaminisky and batum right now, batum would immediately improve the rotation

plus...this is looking like a lean trade market, and only the desperate will participate. CHA fits the bill as a trade partner

Theres still a month until the trade deadline, it will start heating up once teams decide they wont make the playoffs, that's when you will see teams like Washington, NYK, Dallas etc start getting into the market

Charlotte's crazy if they think Kaminsky has that kind of value to take on Batum's contract.
I think it will be a lean market given the number of teams within stiking distance of the playoffs. In any other year, we should be sellers, not buyers at this deadline. However, we are in desperation mode to try and keep AD.

What about:
Randle, Hill, Johnson for Batum, Hernangomez and Graham or Bacon or Bridges?
Then we can still use our first on some additional depth.

Wes/DSJ for Randle would be tempting. Salaries don't work though. You'd pretty much have to add in Solo. Moore and Wes works but no way I'd include Moore unless we're getting Barnes.

We're almost to the point that we have no ability to retain Davis so it'd be better from a roster standpoint to not take anything long term and get a kings ransom for AD to pair with our top 5 draft pick
