They lost those games more than they won them last year (at least it seemed that way, I don't know the stats)

Beating the teams at, or below, you is a huge step

Beating the teams below you and stealing a few here and there from the teams above you is how you get in the playoffs.

Because the cavs are obviously going to finish sub .500

This thread did a great job tempering expectations

so you want them to not win those games?

i'm very unsure what the purpose of this thread is.

I'd bet my life that they'd have beaten the Blazers if AD had played 35+ minutes instead of ~3.

Wrong! Lakers are .500

But on the other side of this argument, they haven’t lost to a .500 or below team all year. Grizz, warriors, trailblazers and wolves are all good. I’m convinced if tony allen makes that layup against the wolves that the Pels win.

And lastly, they’ve played 7 out of 11 on the road.

Agree. I don't give a shite what teams we beat, I just want to win. In years past, we lose to the bad teams. This year, we're beating them. Thankfully, this looks like a different team. That's how you get in the playoffs.

We sucked playing teams in the East last year and doing much better against them so far this year. This team will make the playoffs if they beat the teams they should.

Please take a peak at the darling Celtics schedule so far... 9-2 (Ls to Cavs & Bucks) and 6 of those wins are vs. (likely) non playoff teams plus they beat the Kawhi-less Spurs. WHO GIVES A shite WHO YOU BEAT.

Pels got to build momentum for the battles vs. the upper tier. As long as they're finding a groove / gaining confidence they could be beating the Washington Generals for all i care

We are 3-4 weeks into the season. Records don't reflect what will happen in the end. We are still missing Rondo as well.

5-2 on the road while missing 40% of our starters. I'll take it.

There roughly 8 teams 500 or less in each conference each year. So call it 15 teams and 3 games each. That's 45 games. Win those and you're likely a playoff team.

I'll take it.

This isn't the NFL or CFB. We have a lot of bball left to play. There isn't even a dent put into the NBA schedule so stfu.

So Pels have 6 wins, all against teams with losing records so far

Lakers are 5-5. without losing to us theyd be over .500
cleveland 5-6., loss to us has them under .500
indiana 5-6, loss to us has them under .500
