I’m not sure she is fat and trashy enough for him.

I don't wanna lose Zion but I'm a huge Scoot fan. The kid is going to be a stud.

At this point I figure I am going to be surprised by whatever happens tonight.
About the only guaranteed thing from what I see is that we won’t sell our picks for cash like we did in the Shinn years.

This Sheena chick, probably just googled the nba draft and saw some Zion rumors from the past 2 weeks. I don’t think she has any new, inside knowledge. Just my honest read.

The article where he talks about maintaining his body is such a fresh change. But yeah I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he gets more attention than Wemby in a couple years. And I love Wemby.

At this point the route I'd take is...
Zion, Naji, 14 for Hayward, Martin, 2, 27, and 2 future picks
Then trade Jonas, Temple, 27 for Gafford and Gallinari
Buy a 2nd and take Strawther if available
Scoot / Dyson / Jose
CJ / Hayward / Martin
BI / Trey / Strawther
Herb / Gallinari / EJ
Gafford / Nance / Karlo

I’m still not trading Zion. Just too much potential there. Bring in the new training staff, take off the kids gloves, and let’s roll.

What happens when he remains injured and we can't get out of the first round?
Posted on 6/22/23 at 3:08 pm to Large Farva
We will be lucky to make the first round with a rookie and BI (for 45 games since everything stays the same with Zion everything will stay the same with BI) leading us.

Obviously the best route would be if we knew Zion would stay healthy, but we can't say that for sure or know if he's matured enough to take his health seriously enough moving forward. Scoot approaches the game like CJ. I'd like another mental mindset like that along with one of the best pure PG's to come out in years in the draft.
I say this not saying I want to get rid of Zion, but I understand going that route when him and BI have missed a ton of games so we've never been able to get anywhere because of it.

We made the first round without Zion two years ago...and took the 1 seed to game 6.
Posted on 6/22/23 at 3:21 pm to Large Farva
And didn’t make the first round this year, so we regressed. And that was with Zion having us first in the west.

We went from 36 to 43 wins or however many we had. That's evidence of progression over the random play in games IMO.

Man, some of you guys romanticize 2021-22.
We went 36-46. It took a 13 point 4th quarter comeback in a play in game against the Clippers with no Kawhi or PG to make the 1st round with the worst record of any playoff team in NBA history.
And that 1st seed we took to 6 games was embarrassed in the 2nd round and has since fired the coach and blown up the team.

West was bad that year. Lots of injuries to top teams. That’s not gonna happen again.

True but 30k followers is better than some of our pels reporters lol Why do nfl reporters even care about this??
Because possibly having a scoop that will gain a good bit of traction is good for business and the reporters brand. No matter what the subject matter is about.

There's no way we can afford Zion, BI, and CJ's contracts while trying to keep together some of the young guys. One of those 3 will have to go. CJ is on the books until 26', so I don't see him going anywhere. At this point, I rather ride with the guy that has shown he loves the game and wants to be here than rolling with Zion. I understand that Zion has shown flashes of generational talent but I'm just over the dude at this point.
