TM3 @225 ....I would love it if this would work, but I think it’s wishful thinking

TM3 would replace some of the scoring in the event Zion or BI is not available. Your right, he'll likely never be a volume rebounder but I'd just like to see him hold his own better on drives (added strength would help as he is a willing defender).

The key is Hayes' development but I believe the team can re-sign him for a 3 year deal similar to Nance (likely need some buy-in from both sides). That would keep the Pels financially responsible (anything North of 10MM I'd be more hesitant). I'd love to keep Val as a traditional big but he and Billy are so bad for a team that obviously wants to switch that I can only foresee them as spot players going forward, so a quality proven 4/5 that can space in exchange for Val/Kira or Jose plus picks could work.

C.J. has shown enough for me to move him to off-guard. He operates so much better at that position, and is one of the leagues best movement shooters. A backup for him with similar style of play (through the draft?) would be money for the team.

Point is that the Pels have enough evidence that they have the talent to compete at the highest levels but need insurance on CJ, BI and Zion, as well as, more size in the front court. It does not however need to be tear down/rebuild that would occur if you moved Zion, BI or CJ for that matter.

I think they have 3 long term starters on the roster in Trey, Dyson and Zion

I believe BI is the most central piece on this team, I believe he has been miscast as a primary facilitator and should be more of a finisher (as well as Zion). This obviously requires a real point, that the Pels haven't had. Closest being a flawed Lonzo, but who in the season he played coincided with BI and Zion playing relatively healthy.

The point position is the most demanding from a physical conditioning standpoint. BI gets worn down with double/triple teams and Zion gets beat-up and overextends himself, leading in my opion, to their injury history.

Of course Zion and BI will have the ball in their hands often but I think, at least in my mind .... lol, that assigning primary point duties to them is a fools errand. Pels arguably have top 5 finishers in the league at SG, SF, and PF (CJ, BI and Zion) but they're killing them off asking them to also be primary ball-handlers. I really like Dyson in this role long-term.

Cam johnson would be a nice player to target.

They def need another 3 or 4 that is a shooter.

Need to add two more shooters imo.

Cam and FVV both would be great fits, not sure what’s going on with Javale in Dallas but yes he’d be archetype of what Pels would want out of Hayes.

NGL, I’m pretty disappointed with BI this year. Hopefully we ca get a healthy season out of him to move him. I think he wants to be great but just doesn’t have the mental toughness to play through injury

He can block shots. His defense overall is OK.

And he can shoot, score.

All we need is health and apparently Trey Murphy.

One more shooter in the draft would be nice too.

I might have this one wrong...but I'd do just about whatever it takes...to move up and take Brandon Miller. He has made MAJOR improvements in almost every aspect of his game since the beginning of the season. To me, that's a really good indication...of where a kid THIS talented...is headed.

he's thought of as a worse case than Morant.
an actual murder happened.
pels aren't moving up to take such a risk.
he's very good.
I've seen him.
Morant just lost an advertising campaign.
no one died. he just showed a gun. morant was averaging 27 7 7.
thats zion territory.
no matter. too thugee.

I feel confident that once things settle down and after a bit of due diligence...BM will be seen in a different light. It was a fairly complicated situation and there WERE some fairly rough characters involved, for sure.

Our culture reset has been one of the biggest changes in this franchise over the past couple years. Bringing in Miller is risky considering everything surrounding his name.

Agree 100%.

From the text timing and content (the only text mentioning the “joint”/gun was right before he parked to pickup his teammate) it looks more and more like Miller was trying to come pickup a friend and from the video/pictures it seems that Cedric Johnson (the deceased woman’s boyfriend) pulled in behind Miller shortly after Miller had parked and Johnson likely had bad intentions (lights off and apparently gun in hand ready for a shootout, since it happened very shortly after he pulled in). Miller never got out after he parked, but his car was blocked in by the Jeep and he almost got shot in the crossfire.

When Oats said Miller was in the wrong place at the wrong time that may ultimately be a very accurate description, despite the media outcry.

One thing now seems very clear, the Jeep folks could have just gone home, but decided to pull in behind Miller instead. Doubtful Cedric Johnson parked there just to calmly continue the discussion he had with Davis.
