Ehhh, the way our luck goes Halliburton is gonna blow his Achilles out in their next game, be out all next season and they will have the 1st pick

Unless, they know something we don’t know I really wished we would’ve considered this and waited til finals are over. Seems like Pacers timing here suggests they are going to play him and wanted to protect themselves. This trade would be here before or after finals and if not we would get this same pick or there about next year. No brainer to wait here, calfs have shown to be precursors to Achilles injuries if your not extremely cautious with them.
I think he’s done well in drafts, Hayes and NAW was probably biggest misstep should’ve kept 4th pick. He’s been phenomenal from back half on of drafts. Agree on holding Lonzo too long and maybe BI. I still put him as a top 10 GM overall.
I’d say this is happening to get under tax and because we kinda did figure it out. I’m happy with Missi and Karlo, we can’t afford anyone above their caliber at the moment anyways. His overpays on mediocre players generally don’t pay off but this is net neutral at worst.

His Achilles heels are picking coaches, his borderline weird need to be considered cool by players and therefore not hold them accountable, and overpaying mediocre players. If he doesn’t fix the former 2 now, he may be done for in NOLA.

Only player with positive +/-

Karlo…Eat dookie Willie!!!!
Agree on Karlo especially with injuries at the moment.

As for Willie I hope you’re right, and perhaps it’s a bit of both, but I think he’s in a classic push pull relationship with Griff. My guess is he has little say in personnel so he makes sure to command who gets minutes. I think it’s why Matt Ryan, who is a try-hard defender, played very little and Griff ultimately had to release him.
New City Champ. I came to say everything you said, outstandingly well done. It’s true IMO we’ve seen it over and over with Willie - boneheaded stubbornness that is out of touch with reality and really not in line with how Griff speaks of the culture he wants to build. If he doesn’t change, It will get him fired one way or another because it affects winning.
He is apart of one of the most elite rooms in NFL history. The that side of the field is his leave it alone room.

Say all you want about the best in franchise history anyone who commands that type of respect is among the best to ever do it. Good luck Lat, you will be missed. Prayers for better health moving forward. Saint for life.
Naw double down hit em with the 4 point line
About the only thing injuries are good for.

Arthur Blank should buy the Saints, he’s infatuated with anything they have
12 teams right now average over 21 points a game. 16 teams give up 21 or less. So right now I’m right. All the stat searching I feel like doing but feel free. Oh yeah, check out a play sheet on game day and tell me who has a bigger one DC or OC.
In a perfect world you convince them to switch places.

I’ve seen GMs make ice cold moves like this with players so why not with a coach?

If you lose DA it stinks but man I just think it’s easier to find elite defensive minds than it is to find elite offensive minds, it’s that simple for me. Of course, since the guy is in the building you need to make sure he's capable of managing players.

Hit the Klint Kubiak!!

That’s all I got baws
Perhaps I’m watching the wrong Bounce cuz both Bounce and Bally’s look equally bad. If people are watching the same thing I’m watching and think one is better than the other they are simply blinded by politics.

Lol, Saints have one of the best rosters in the league. We can discuss the coaching situation which I think Gayle was heavily involved in, but plenty of blame to go around.

I’m no GM but I feel like the hardest thing for a GM to do is let a high draft pick walk for nothing hoping he uses it as motivation to finally put in the work to get better and then fighting the temptation to hope he never gets better.
