You understand these are rumors to them as well, right?

All I know is that it doesn't take long for stuff to get around that office.

If we had scorers then I'd give up Gordon and #10, but I fear that Rondo's talent will go to waste with no one that can score to pass it to.

What deal?

I didn't report any details, just that there are talks for a package deal. Likely other teams involved as well.

Sorry bro. Your C's are getting Demps'd and you can do nothing but sit back and watch.

I like Rondo's game a lot. But unless Demps/Monty are in the middle of the longest and best head fake in history, Gordon is staying.

Why are people so in love with Gordon?

We have cap space to sign guys over the next 2 years. Would be easier to find a player like Gordon than Rondo. Not to mention if we are able to keep our 10 th pick.

Gordon's injuries could make or break the future of this team. How can people not realize that?

my bets were us giving up okafor+ariza+#10 or something equal for rondo but dell blew that ish out the water!!! but if a deal happens with lewis involved then i would still be on point. im pretty confident that either gordon or rivers with be our guy this year. this would be a tough one to figure out. gotta be a three team deal for us to get him.

SG's are way more valuable than PG's.

Rondo is an uber-talented yet extremely flaky PG that before this year's playoffs (even with a title under his belt) Celtics fans weren't in love with.

Gordon is a top 4 SG who is still super young. His "injuries" are no more risky than Rondo's enigmatic, unreliable Baron Davis-like persona.

He's going to be miserable if they rebuild, and he'd be miserable here.

That's because they are Boston fans. Awful by nature.

Rondo is unreliable. He tore shite up v's Miami mostly because of the matchups (they had no PG). Same reason he tore shite up v's the Lakers in their two finals - YET he couldn't comfortably lead Boston to victory over the HORRENDOUS Philadephia 76ers.

I'd flat out rather EG than Rondo - sorry for having a contrary opinion.

No need to apologize. I was simply commenting on Boston's shitty fans

When has rondo been unreliable?

shite at least he is on the court. How is a good player, a head case as you say, (which is being way overblown by you btw) more risky than someone always injured?

He is also one of the few pass first PGs to win a title since Isiah & Magic.

I think Rondo is more of a franchise player than Gordon, especially factoring in injuries, but I fear that Rondo won't be able to produce as well here with no scorers around if Gordon's gone. Not to mention that when you consider his personality, he will more than likely not be happy here if we struggle to make the playoffs without a good scorer to pass it to unless we can convince one to sign here or hit in the draft. We already know what we're getting with Gordon.

This.

If a good deal comes along, I have no problem moving Gordon. Rondo/21, 22 for EG/10 is intriguing but I don't know if I pull the trigger. If those picks were just a little higher, giving them a chance at grabbing Ross and Leonard, I would do that deal.

Rondo
Ross
Aminu
Davis
Leonard

That group would need some seasoning, but it is an athletic 5. Definitely need some bench scoring, but in this scenario, there is still plenty of cap space

He averaged 14 and 12 vs Philly.

3:1 asst to turnover

What a shitty series

We have money to add players around him. And if we keep 10+ Anthony davis, that's a solid grouping

#10 and Lewis for Rondo would be incredible...sounds too good to be true

if we keep 10

That's another thing. I don't see Boston taking anything less than Gordon + #10 for Rondo. Unless we can sign a free agent this summmer, we'd basically have Rondo and Davis and that's it. Plenty of cap space, but considering who we are, I don't know of what good players we could get to sign without having to slightly overpay.
