I could trade Gordon for Rondo and 2014 pick. Only because of more shooting guard depth. If Lillard isnt there at 10 pick River and do this.

So you don't want the Hornets to become title contenders?

Maybe they use the Hornets to gain cap room to steal Deron Williams from the Nets.

I would think Deron would consider signing a deal with the Celtics if it was a possibility.

I want Rondo but not if we had to give up Gordon for him.

When Rondo is at his best, it's because he has legit scorers around him that he can dish it off to, and right now our only scorer is Gordon (and Lewis if that even counts). Rondo with a bunch of d-league talent around him would be a disaster because he would have no one to pass it off to spread the defense and he simply can't create his own shot.

Rondo and Davis would be a nice pick and roll combo. Sign a wing player in free agency and draft best player available

Gordon is worthless if he is always hurt. Not sure how'd he fit with pierce anyway

Hoping JLSIX didn't get the "rumor" from this even more awful than usual Bleacher Report article:
LINK

It's the only "Rondo to NOLA" chatter that came up from within the past week.

I liked the idea of "saving cap space" by using Kaman in a sign and trade with Portland.

no, not bleacher report. From a friend who works there and another neighbor who works there. Only said they are in talks. I don't give it much credence FWIW IMO. My question was purely about how it would work. Still a possibility though because Dell is

With that said, one of these 2 told me about the posey signing 2 weeks in advance. Take it FWIW.

What I always wondered is why in hell would they be telling janitors or anybody who just works around any of this stuff.

I'm curious as well. If one of them knew about the Posey signing then I'd imagine he isn't a janitor.

NO WAY I'd give them anything more than #10 and Lewis.

If they asked for Gordon I'd tell them to GTFO.

I'd rather Gordon than Rondo on a rebuilding team. Rondo would be a terrible style PG to build around.
