Remember when we were desperate for wings?

I remember from 2007 and 2008 that we were always looking for wings. We longed for a true 3 and D.
Or just a very good SF or SG. It’s nice to have Trey, Herb and Hawk these days.

Even Naji is better than Solomon Hill.

I thought this thread was going to be about chicken wings inside SKC

Solomon Hill

Naji wouldn’t have been allowed to develop. They were trying to catch lightning in a bottle and couldn’t wait 3 years for a fringe NBA player to be on rotation worthy. They needed one to start ASAP.

Pluckers is ok…I’m not saying they are great, but certainly good enough if you are desperate.
But you are right, not really too many great places for wings around The Blender.

I remember hyping myself up about Wesley Johnson.

I liked a lot of Ariza’s game.

I remember telling everyone that would listen that there were far worse options that Acid Al Farouq. Dude was probably the best SF we had for that stretch, but he was still a backup starting.

He was actually pretty good. But was more of a glue guy instead of what we were using for. Probably shoukd have hung on to him.

I still believe in Julian Wright's potential

I remember him being good...for other teams he was supposed to be a big 3 and D piece but his 3 wasn't falling here iirc

We have to count E’Twaun Moore, right? Almost positive he started at SF some.
