Remember when the narrative was Ingram doesn’t have the ability to play defense? Feet too slow and poor defensive awareness? None of that tonight.

Dude took the criticism to heart and has responded in a big way.
Guy looks like he is on a mission to be a respected defender.
Ingram may legit crack the top ten this year with this sort of play.

The discipline, cohesion, and effort the team is showing is night and day from Gentry. We’d win pre-season games like this under Gentry but it was always just sort of barely contained chaos and sheer energy, this is something different and SVG is showing why Griffin picked him.

That 30 first quarter along with the low total for the rest was largely due to Miami starting off pretty hot from 3 but then going ice cold.
However I do think we played excellent defense for the last 3 quarters mostly as well
