Between Mosley and ham, who's the better x's and o's?
I'm going with Mosley, purely because Orlando is a team full of idiots. Whereas Ham had lebron.

Here's phase 1: Cope. Omg im not doing 4 years of this shite again, and the fans that will sell themselves on this hire as a "good thing" will be fricking torture.

Same type of coach as Willie. Defensive minded coach who isn't an X and Os guy. Emphasis on pace, space, and pass with no true offensive system and freedom to figure it out.
Bridge coach and culture setter who will get out coached when the games matter.
Only thing he brings over Willie is probably toughness. Willie was soft.
Hiring Mosley signals that we are in a transition period and are restarting the process with these guys. So no blowing up and rebuilding anytime soon.

He's made the playoffs three years in a row. We would kill for that. Can he build fears and Queen?

30 of these jobs on the planet and we've got an unemployed guy debating whether or not he wants this one. Very Pelicans.
Sometimes it takes a public reminder of what I’ve been saying for years. This franchise is toxic with Gayle ownership and both teams will reside at the bottom of the heap.
Yes, there are only 30 HC jobs in the NBA but the Pels HC job is around #40 in best coaching jobs (some key franchise lead assistants are better positions).

Orlando took Jalen Suggs and Anthony Black in the top six under Mosley and neither guy lived up to his draft stock. I don't know what that says for Fears, but I don't necessarily love it.

For me, it's less to do with Mosley and more to do with process.
Is Mosley a bad coach? Statistically speaking, no, he's not. But he's also a re-tread hire that is uninspired.
I'm not saying Rondo would have set the world on fire, but it would have been different. I would have invigorated the fanbase. It would be a guy that the players would respect. He would be a guy that creates the culture you want. Is he a risk? Absolutely, but any hire is.
Could Mosley be successful here? Sure, he could. But he's boring and, frankly, if you are having to convince him to come, is he really the guy you want anyway? He's got two years left on his deal at $14m? Why would he want to jump from situation to a poorer one?
Rondo was a smokescreen, we all know that. The organization again is failing to read to the room or, worse, not caring about what is right in front of them.

To add more context, he did this in the East, weaker conference with a more talented roster and got eliminated first round in all years while being a locker room issue and having bad x and os.
I find it hard to believe he would find success in a stronger conference with a lesser talented roster
Return of "elbow" ball will suck arse

Now now. You know Gayle is not cheap. (Sarcasm). She is building a doctors office for those Ochsner doctors and she is saving the cathedral and spreading a ton of money to bring our teams to Paris. She is also saving PBS when Trump was going to rip it . (Sarcasm) .
Where is Chad anyway? Not defending the team today? LOL .

agree with everything you said. I was there at the first press conference in the New Orleans center when the hornets became official, went to every home game the first couple seasons (Hyatt suite), owned a pair of season tickets for ten years, and watched as many road games as I could. This year I didn’t watch a single minute of any game, and haven’t attended a game in several years. My interest in this team is “point and laugh” at this point.
There is nothing here to be inspired about. Rondo might have pulled me back in if for no other reason than trying something different and potentially exciting
Franchise destruction by boredom
