They have to know the level of apathy right?

How do they know that and respond like they seem to have so far?

It boggles the mind

Jamahl Mosley is a very good coach and has a lot of good qualities that could be a good fit with our roster.

Its already been said by a thousand supposed fans no great coach wants to come here yet when we hire the best person we can, its still shite on. I'm a fan of Rondo too but its no slam dunk, very little coaching experience and has a little bit of a checkered past. Maybe we find a way to get him in the building. Who knows.

If Mosley was getting out of the first round of the playoffs, then we'd have zero shot to have him as head coach of the pelicans at this time.

I think he was getting fired regardless. He lost the locker room and there were some revolting going on by their star player. His time there as a bridge coach was over. The stakes are way too high with the Bane trade and the front office will be on the hot seat and will be out if they don't look like contenders within the next two years.

Start of search: guys there’s no list, we aren’t just going to hire one of weaver’s buddies

End of search: yeah we’re basically waiting on weaver’s recently fired friend to see if anyone at all offers him something better than this job

I believe in progression. Why wasn't Rondo an assistant coach the past couple of seasons? His title was something like a special advisor or something like that. Everybody says that he has an incredible mind for basketball. But that's a small part of being a head coach, which is primarily people management, and very political. I just wouldn't be comfortable hiring someone with limited staff experience or no organizational knowledge. That's just too big of an adjustment.
