We were up by 15 with 35 minutes left against a far superior team

KD, Kyrie on the court and you lose because Nic Claxton kicked your arse all night.

Good effort tonight considering this is the hottest team in the nba that is duly healthy against a team without its two stars.

Idk why people say we need to feed JV against smaller bigs. He’s not this physical post playing big at all. He’s shockingly weak for a guy his size

Nothing about that 2nd half was a good effort.

Yup that’s what it boils down to

Even w Jonas and CJ alternating playing like retards

If we halfass rebound the ball

We probably win by 10

Serious question, is Herb leading the league in fouls?

Seems like the dude fouls in every key situation.

It’s crazy Herb is a good defender but absolutely terrible rebounder

We pretty much lost every 50/50 ball. A lot of tough bounces against us.

Jose gets hit, punched, kicked, a knee to the chest more than anyone since the 80/90's Pistons broke up.

Not good for a team that is supposed to be all about hustling.

AD with some perspective

without 2 of your best players... you stuck around with 1 of the best & hottest teams in the NBA

and even considering that... the thought is you should still win too... the narrative about Pelicans basketball has definitely changed

Any home loss is a bad loss.

Nah. A close loss to a healthy, on fire Nets team while missing your two best players is not a bad loss. I hate any loss, but this one isn't causing me to lose sleep. With BI or Zion we win this game.

We were four point dogs. With the lineup we put out tonight this is sort of a moral victory. Pretty awesome that even when Z and BI don’t play we keep it close with some of the best teams in the nba. Even crazier that we expect to win these games

LOL

We ran a play to get Trey a 3 and he literally didn't turn and look for the ball.
