It should also open peoples eyes to the level of pressure players feel that they can go from that to shitting their pants. People deserve a lotta respect for performing in front of that many people, especially where one mistake can define your whole career.

After watching the post game practice media availability, Pels media sucks.
These guys need to stop shoving microphones in the face of guys like Jose and asking only about Zion. I know Z is the hot topic, but man put some work and thought into your questions and stop making the team about one guy.

That’s a great sign, and it can mean 1 of 2 things. 1) Dyson is either too strong to shoot from the traditional distance and/or 2) he has already mastered the traditional free throw distance after one short summer of tutelage from Lord Vinson.

Vinson said in that offseason article that his process is basically he rebuilds every motion and twitch of a person's jumpshot. And in doing so he starts at first principles.
Said player may spend two weeks shooting nothing but shots 3 feet from the basket and gradually moving outward, building the proper mechanics at literally every spot on the floor.
So, in that context, it could be a good sign that Dyson is currently over the half way mark and working from the top of the key.

In the videos where he trains with JLawBball, he has looked absolutely atrocious at shooting.. like Giddey level shooting. Hopefully he’s just in the middle of a transformation and that’s why it got really bad, but he wasnt shooting like a guy who shot around 40% from 3 his last few months of G League

Its to be expected and the players I am sure are prepared for this.
As time goes on the local media will ask more focused questions and more questions about the player and team in general, and the national media will ask Zion questions.

Lot of excitement with Zion being back in the fold. Note though from the department of redundancy department, this team will go as far as the team goes. National media wants a LeBron centric type team with a face to hype but that type of team is unsustainable and ultimately self-destructive. Pels declared their independence from the National Media perspective last year and made them eat crow. It was glorious! It'd be a shame to run right back to that simple narrative.
