"Prefer to stay in Sacramento"? Might be the first and last time I hear that phrase for a long time. Really don't get why he'd be so much happier in that situation than being a part of a much more promising team where he has a more defined role.

most players would likely not have to move around

also, outside of eric gordon's agent, most agents know how to handle this type of situation.

Tyreke is probably just avoiding the Eric Gordon dipshit brand of team relations.

Exactly. Smartest move would be to keep his preference to himself, but it's still a lot better than trying to pressure the team that can match any offer to let you walk for nothing.

Guy just bought a house outside of Sacramento, and its all hes known as a pro

I can understand him being somewhat against change

Until he says some dumb shite like, "my heart is in Sactown" Im okay with him

And with Lopez clearly having some value around the league, I'm feeling better about throwing Vasquez in to get Evans. With Portland being interested, McNamara brought up Jeff Withey, which I would love.

Per those close to the situation as of this morning, DeMarcus Cousins maintains his desire for a max contract by this summer.

Trade.

If Evans will really be our bench guy, as opposed to our starting 3, he can start as point guard if Jrue goes down.

not going to happen. too many other teams interested in Copeland who will pay him more than the Pels can afford

This Tyreke Evans situation is so up and down. I've been so bipolar since this thread started.

I haven't been keeping up with Copeland since Tyreke was a possibility.

MM is now considering that "Evans won't sign" could be a ploy by Tyreke's agent to get more money/be a starter. I don't see where Evans has the leverage to do that. It's either sign the offer sheet or take a lot less money to stay in Sacramento.
