The thing is... The Kings could go after Ig, lose out, and then decide to match Tyreke.

I will say that this is the busiest I have seen this board in a long, long time. It's awesome to see this especially in the off-season. The association is fricked.

I think Kings have to tell us their intention soon

If Reke does sign our offer, when does Sac have to decide by?

I sent Tyreke an encouraging tweet last night. Maybe my words encouraged him to come play for us.

Sorry, but its true. We can't know for sure until they either agree with Ig or the 13th?

I may or may not have tweeted this thread to tyreke

He can't sign it until the 10th. Then 3 days.
We waited till the absolute last minute to match EG.

Kings only 2 m/yr off of what the Pelicans offered. I doubt they let him walk for a 2 m/yr difference. Going to need to be a S/T IMO

If he signs the contract, there goes any chance of a S&T (with the Pelicans). That means their decision to match means they want to keep him. To my knowledge, every other team that he's met with has had the cap space to sign him outright, so there may not be any other S&T offers for them to take.

Says who? The word before FA was that they would let him walk for anything over his qualifying offer, which was ~$7m.

Draft worked out perfect for Pelicans. If Noel doesn't fall, we don't get Jrue. If McLemore doesn't fall to Kings, we prob don't get Tyreke
Couldn't have said it better.

My guess would be he'll say he's going to sign the offer sheet, but not do so until we can agree to a S&T.

You sure he can't sign till 10th?

The Sacramento Kings have made Denver Nuggets swingman Andre Iguodala their free-agent priority, according to sources familiar with Sacramento's thinking. Iguodala Sources told ESPN.com the Kings, meanwhile, are leaning strongly against matching the offer sheet restricted free agent Tyreke Evans is planning to sign with the New Orleans Pelicans on July 10.

You do realize that the 2 and 3 are basically the same position on offense, right?
