I saw this article on Pro Sports Daily, Pelicans emerging as the favorite to land Dinwiddie. The next 24 hours should be very interesting.

We should trade Zion now if that’s the case.

He’s a decent player but I truly don’t get the fit.

He reportedly wants $25 million a year as well. There is no way I would pay him more than half that. I would gladly take Ball over him every day of the week.

Well I figured it wouldn’t take long for Griff to frick himself again after a very good trade this week. Just pay Lonzo if that’s the level of player you’re going to overpay. Nothing about Dinwiddie screams contender level starting PG.

If so, guess we are having debates about how we don't need spacing going into the season again. sigh

Don't believe it.

I think he will be a great addition if the price is right. Guy loves the game and works his arse off. I have a feeling he comes here because of NAW. Both of them train all the time together.

Isn’t he a terrible 3 shooter? Griff just said in the press conference he wants shooting around Zion and this is the guy he’s looking at? Puke.

Really feel like they are killing the Lonzo market on purpose

FYI. This is a nonsense clickbait article based solely on Windhorst saying the we would be possibly interested if we miss on Lowry.

Lowry/SGA/Brogdon/
Dinwiddie/NAW/Shamet
Ingram/Ingles
Zion/Turner
Jonas/Hayes/

I like what we are doing this off-season if we can add another big. That may be a 50 win team

You don't have to and you shouldn't. The Pels are positioned for maximum optionality. The probably are kicking the tires on lots of things and I would assume they are swinging for the fences like Lowry + Brogdon. If Dinwiddie is part of a backup plan, he'd probably be part of a package that made more sense than Dinwiddie alone.

If we are gone to go after some random point guard if we miss out on Sexton, Lowry, Brogdon, CP3

We should consider guys like Reggie Jackson and Kendrick Nunn.

Not true points, but guys that can create their own shot and actually hit 3’s. Both would come at more reasonable price tags than Dinwiddie as well.

We don’t need a true point. We have Zion, Ingram, Naw, Kira.

If we just pick up another secondary ball handler that can create their own shot in either the draft or free agency, we should be fine.

There are so many better routes than going after Dinwiddie of all people.
