Just in this thread you have people saying better things about any/ all young prospect besides ours and then talk up JJJ but absolutely shite on Murray like h's a nobody. And one of those dudes is actually on the team y'all root for, I think.
We are excited about Coward/ Boozer because Mem moved on from Bane/ Ja but will hold our breathe for Fears/ Queen because Zion/ Trey are on the roster?
shite makes no sense. If we traded Z, etcc y'all would be ecstatic and talk up the young guys but the distain is so strong that y'all just can't stomach it while the people you hate are still on the roster.
Can we not hate Zion and simultaneously think Fears/ Queen can make this their team and allow us to move on from Z/ force him to conform?

I also think we will go over, UNLESS we start off slow or suffer a major injury and decide to blow it up and tank.
This feels like a frustrating, tease us all year 35-win team that will hang on to some guys way too long and play just well enough to lose out on a high draft pick

We finished 27th in the league in made 3pts each of the last 2 years. Thats not going to get better giving or minutes to fears, Queen and Missi.
We are nowhere near good enough at anything else to suck at shooting the 3. We are clearly a bottom 10 team in the league unless Queen or fears take a leap no one should expect in year 2.
I’d take the under. We are almost certainly trading Murray, Herb and bey before the trade deadline.

Let's not play Fears b/c you think he doesn't shoot enough 3's. Yeah. Ok bud. Fears is going to take 5+ this year. I guarantee it. He's still working on his game, and i'd bet in year 3 he'll be taking 7+.
The problem you didn't address would be Zion taking 0 threes, and a front office who refuses to bring in a 4 or 5 who can shoot a 3 for the entirety of Zion's career thus far. It is impossible for us to be in the top half of the league in 3PA with Zion playing 30mpg and not having a backup 4 or 5 that will take 4-5 a game. DQ doesn't need to be taking 5 3's a game. He needs to work the elbows and be a playmaker from there. If DQ takes 2-3 top of the key 3's a game, that's enough for him.
Karlo needs to play more. He needs to be taking 4 a game.
You dont' just jack up 3's just to jack them up. This isn't aau. If they aren't good shots, then more often than not they are like turnovers that lead to easy transition baskets. Take smart 3's and have a high %. The Nuggets were bottom half of the league in 3PA, yet only a handful of teams made more than them b/c they shot them at almost 40% as a team. The Grizzlies took 4 more 3's a game than them, and made less. There's no reason both DQ and Zion shouldn't average 5+ assists per game b/c they should be trying to get to the rim and kicking out to wide open 3 point shooters when the lane collapses on them.

Its crazy, none of the opinions make sense.
We finished 26-56 last year.
Started out 2-10 will Willie Green as coach.
Immediately went 2-2 after changing coaches.
- Extra year with Fears/ Missi/ Queen/ Karlo
- Up to +68 games with Dejounte Murray
- Better Coach
That doesn't even include Trey/ Zion having more impactful minutes/ maturity.
Even if we struggle it should look closer to 35-47.

Had we made a move sooner we would have overpaid. Every team in the league overpaid for any move that they made. We are the only team that didn't overpay. It was very smart for us to wait. And you're not even factoring in that this move absolutely will not improve our team so even better.

None because we didn't sign him to the roster. It was a 1 year training camp deal.
We have Dickinson/ Pierre on 2-Ways. We specifically gave Bufkin a camp deal to keep the other 2 way open.
I would have been impressed to see the line move for a player who isn't on our team.

But I didn’t say don’t play fears. I said take the under. I said take the under because we are a really bad 3 point shooting team. I said we are a really bad 3 point shooting team because we were last year and internal growth isn’t going to improve our 3 point shooting over last year.
In the nba you lose games when you a bottom of the league team in made 3s unless you are exceptional at something else. We aren’t exceptional anywhere.
