Uhh...no comment.

BUT...I WILL say that for the 1st coupla years,,,after Pels drafted Trey and Herb...I was totally onboard and thought they had a decent shot to make a solid leap forward. But, they just kept making mistake after mistake with personnel...imo.

Guess I'm just "worn down"...but if it helps any with my "status" here on the board...I TRULY hope Herb doesn't end up with the Lakers...even thought it would be a better situation for him.

That said...tonight I will be watching and pulling for the Pels...and hoping Herb might see a few more minutes on the court.

Mosley basically said that Herb will be getting more minutes so hopefully that’s the case. Definitely could have used him a little more in the last 3 games.

We could get SGA - it doesn't matter

Whoever we get will either be injured or suck

And whoever we send will be suddenly play All NBA first team level

Its the franchise - not the playas

For Herb, I'd start with their 1st round swap with the Clippers...

Completely pointless with the current Bucks swap. You'd have to get the Spurs pick (protected 1-16) and the swap.

OK...maybe I'm confused...but I was thinking the Thunder could just "give" us their rights to the Clippers 1st round pick...in any trade for Herb...and it wouldn't have anything to do with the Bucks "situation"...

The Clippers pick is a "swap". Meaning you need a draft pick that's worth it to use the swap. If the Bucks/ Pels pick ends up #3-#5 and the Clippers are #3-#5 then we will either not use the swap or trade Herb to move 1 spot int he draft.

The Thunder have DEN/ SAS/ OKC 1sts, the rest are swaps. You'd would want their worst draft of the (3) + the swap.

Not a single person on here would blame you if before you went to bed at night you said a prayer asking God for Herb to be traded.

I've been following them since inception. These past two years have been the worst I ever remember as far as memory and actual bleakness of our outlook. In really bad years in years past I have normally been able to see a light at the end of the tunnel, I'm having a hard time seeing that now. Especially given how long we have stuck with Zion, it is legit baffling.

so herb has been playing like shite.
2 straight years of falling production and efficiency.
he gets benched like he probably should have.
now we're all herb fans again cause we feel for him.

That's not how that would work.
The swap is with OKC. OKC will get the Clippers pick (as I assume OKC will finish with a better record than the Clips). If they want to trade that pick, then they are trading the pick, not the swap.
Regardless, they are not trading the Clippers swap pick to us for Herb. That would be very stupid of them, and they aren't stupid. They actually have a GM who has basketball management skills.

Be a little more objective chad. Hes won his minutes 2 out of 3 games and has taken 5 3s and made 2.

For a former all defensive player still in his prime dont you think that warrants a look regarding his minutes?

I also highly doubt its a reality. BUT when you add a potential 3rd team sending them picks for Chet and sending out Pooles expiring then it may become enticing.

Pels: 1st LAC/ McCain

OKC: Herb/ C/ 1st(s)/ $40mil cap relief next year

3rd team: Poole/ Chet

Doubt it happens but definitely makes it more of a possibility if its a move that gives them Herb + sustainability with cap space.

There’s not enough to argue much either way. Hence the laughter. I could be arguing with your point then that he’s excelling in his bench role since you are bragging about his playing.
