I got ya.

The team sucks and most of them are not winning players but for me, as a fan of the team I become a fan of the players that hustle and play winning basketball in their respective roles. And tend to root for the guys that seem like good dudes.

That's the reason i never hated on anyone who was mad or sad when we traded Jose. You had people on here bitching because Jose wasn't a difference maker and it was idiotic to be mad he is gone. Or, just maybe, people really liked him as a Pelican. There are few players over the years that seemed to genuinely like it here so it's hard not to be disappointed when one of those guys gets traded.

I think it'll be the same with Herb. Not that he gives off some I love it in New orleans vibe, but he doesn't complain, is not a diva, and is one of the few guys over the past 5 seasons that has actually cared to play defense. I'll hate to see him go if he is traded, but he actually has some value so it's best that he is traded. We have to start digging ourselves out of this hole.

could be arguing with your point then that he’s excelling in his bench role since you are bragging about his playing.

..... which should warrant more playing time lol

I don’t think much has played out yet.

Biggest question is are we playing Zion to boost his trade value hoping for an exit plan cause if not, his arse deserves benching at this point.

I've been following them since inception. These past two years have been the worst I ever remember as far as memory and actual bleakness of our outlook. In really bad years in years past I have normally been able to see a light at the end of the tunnel, I'm having a hard time seeing that now. Especially given how long we have stuck with Zion, it is legit baffling.

At this point I would kill to have the Eric Bledsoe pels back.
