I still wonder if it’s Zion’s camp controlling it all and Griff is hamstrung as to what to do. If it is Griff, he needs to be fricking GONE

I’m happy that there was no mention of 2 weeks so I’ve got that going for me.

Clown arse update. Amazing how bad they have handled this whole situation.

It really is just a masterclass of incompetence. Bravo Griff.

Fans should boycott the Knicks game. The team is a bunch of pros right? They should play hard in front of 10 people just like they would in front of 10,000. But an empty damn arena sends a message.

That’s exactly what it is, zions camp doesn’t want him to seem fat and injury prone so griff bends the knee and puts out this nothing burger

Eventually if you keep kicking the can down the road, there will be no more can (Zion)

So instead of telling us what is actually happening they will just say he is progressing until the season ends

Zion is heavy and out of shape after the injury. No way he is ready to play right now even if the hammy is healed.

You can’t throw him under the bus and say well he is way too heavy but it is obvious he is. Go look at the video of him taking shots in LA pregame on 4/1. That was only 5 days ago.

He’s definitely not worth paying a big contract to only be available for 25 games each year. The problem is, during those 25 games, he’s mesmerizing.

Eh. If we’re going to eventually lose Zion, I’d rather be rid of a fricking cuck PBO and get someone who won’t play that shite moving forward

I’m not sure what any of y’all are expecting a front office to do in this situation. If they go silent, people are rioting. If they give continuous updates, even when there is nothing new to report, people are upset. If Zion’s hammy is recovered enough, but he’s not in game shape at the moment, Griff can’t really come out and say that because the uproar over his weight will be right back again. His updates are cryptic because the nature of the injury and his desire to protect Zion and keep him happy.

We heard this for every injury. It's never mattered.

Adam Silver needs to step in and force Zion out at this point for “basketball reasons.” If our shite medical staff and incompetent front office can’t get him on the court send him somewhere that will.

Honestly... I think this is exactly it

His hammy is healed but he's not in game condition so he's going to hit the gym until he's game ready

The addition of "and conditioning" in the statement gave me that feeling

Seriously?

How about when you give an official update, you actually give an update?

Is that really too much to ask for?
