If Minny does any trade not involving Wiggins, everyone in that front office needs to be fired

They have multiple first round picks, including Miami's unprotected 2015. Offer all the ones you can, throw in Tristan, etc. Basically everything but Wiggins.

I would just hold onto Wiggins.

Is that really far worse than Lee/Thompson?

That could actually be pretty valuable, but their front office may not have that long to wait.

They have said they see him as a 2. Whatever. He can guard 2s and it doesn't really matter w/ LeBron on the roster.

Ah. Still they have multiple picks and a lot of young players. I'd offer everything but Wiggins and Kyrie. Hold firm. If you don't get Love, you can always try and trade for him at the last minute or during the season.

Or sign him next offseason.

Not really. But if you're Cleveland and you have a chance to deal Wiggins for Love straight up (plus whatever filler salaries are needed to make it happen) you eventually do it, right?

Makes sense if you're building a championship team over a few years. Irving/Waiters/James/Love/Varajao could win it this year. Obviously just James can get them to the finals, but it that team sans Love good enough to be SA/OKC/Houston with Bosh?

Yeah. They will need a stretch 4 and a big as Varejao insurance, but they will be good, especially in the East. I expect James to play plenty at the 4 too, so they could get a guy like Miller, Granger, Butler, maybe Vince Carter or other vets to come on the cheap.

Mike Scott would be a sneaky good fit as an off the bench stretch 4.

ETA: I forgot they have Bennett. He can be that stretch guy if he's actually in shape. Reports have been positive, but he was a grease fire.

Irving
Waiters
Bron
Bennett
Varejao

would be fun. Blatt has his hands full. No pressure or anything......
