I can see bradley being worth near 8 mil beacuse he's a very legit defender who's offensive game took a step forward last year.

Another potential wrinkle of this feeding frenzy, does it make a Gordon buyout and stretch more likely? Surely Gordon could get at least 3/$24 in this market.

OR hopefully the market will drop out and we can re-sign Morrow for a bargin. It's clear that GM's aren't aware that Morrow can play decent team defense if he is use to the scheme. That is hurting his stock.

It would be great if the bastard would just make a public comment that he knows he hasn't lived up to his deal yet with New Orleans and that he is working his arse off to make that happen this year. It would be a "pretty good" move to up his trade value.

Well he did retweet black yoda saying he was going to go off this year. So there's that...

A sign-and-trade deal involving Josh Smith and Isaiah Thomas "may be in the works," according to Grantland.com.
The Pistons are believed to be interested in signing the restricted free agent while Greg Monroe reportedly wants to see Smith get traded. The Smith signing did not go well and the Pistons weren't a very efficient offense while their defense wasn't great either.

Well, that would certainly flip the script.

Yeah, the people I was talking about earlier, this is one example. No wonder he hates it, some people are dumb as hell.

Every big market team has to make some kind of splash.

There will be offers on Gordon come closing time. OKC has money to spend this year and Sefalosha is garbage, plus they need to prove to Durant they are willing to build. They could pull a desperate move. If LS leaves Indy, they will panic in need of another guard. The Lakers will panic, but don't see them coming after EG.

No need to panic yet.

It's all fascinating. Meeks at $6M a year is an overpay. But if the cap goes up to $70M+ by that 2nd and 3rdd year? Not so bad. A lot of these GMs are betting on a 10-20M jump in the cap line over the next few years. Business is good.

Gordon's 2nd year is not guaranteed. It is to hit the salary floor (if it's 4.5 and 4.5, he is the 2nd highest paid player on the Magic ) and potential trade filler.

With the market as crazy as it is, that's not that bad.
