So Marion to the Pels ?? Probably one of the best available option for us.

They always say "If I get traded to a non contender I'm retiring" and then the next season when no contender wants them but the desire to play/get a paycheck is still there they sign with a lesser team, see Jermaine Oneal and Golden State.

Indeed. And he would start here, which is what he seems to want more than anything else.

Also, Brandon Rush trying out for teams in Vegas on Tuesday. LINK

Rush is really a perfect guy for Demps to take a flyer on since he will be a year off of a major injury and can flat-out shoot the long ball.

Rush is a guy we nearly got before in an aborted trade during the time when the league owned the team.

Seems like the kind of guy that Demps would take a flyer on if he were cheap, which he will be if he is at the Summer League jockeying for a contract.

This signing could easily become a sign-and-trade for Roberts with Hopson coming back, maybe more each way. - 42

Charlotte doesn't have to do anything with us, but what about Ajinca and Roberts for Hopson and Jeff Taylor? Mutual interest?

Note on CHA's Brian Roberts' deal -- it fits room exception, meaning CHA would wait to sign him to keep open as much space as possible.

Even a simple Roberts for Hopson trade would let them keep room exception.

Rush is more of a SG, but he's worth a look

If he isn't getting any other interest we could do a lot worse, he is a solid player.

He's a true swingman at 6'6" 233...would fit the Morrow role but with better defensive matchup capabilities.

Houston will not match the $46M Dallas offer sheet for Chandler Parsons, league source tells Yahoo Sports.

When they signed Ariza, it was clear. Hakeem Olajuwon is not walking through that door.

Excited for Booms take on this. Lost Asik, Lin, Parsons for Ariza and a 1st. Yet Houston fans will still think its a good offseason.

So to recap…the Mavs are overpaying the frick out of Parsons and the Rockets had probably the worst offseason in the league.

Yeah, but the Heat couldn't do anything about Lebron leaving. Houston screwed this up all on their own.
